As ugly as this game is, I expect a botched snap and hold to turn it over.

Can Cassel throw a legit spiral? That was hideous.

oh thank goodness... that would have been more embarrasing than the Oakland loss. Night all

Was I the only one that wanted him to miss the FG?

Mercifully, it's over. That was almost as bad as those Jets/Bills or Browns/Chargers games.

And that is why we were happy when BRADY QUINN got the start. Bench Cassel, put in Ricky Stanzi, and fire the man that thought Matt Cassel was worth 60 million: Scott Pioli.

Sorry Demented, but the Chiefs are gonna get killed by Cincinnati next week. The fun thing is that game is in Arrowhead. If Cassel is starting that game, the fans that show up will eat Cassel alive. It will be glorious. Matt Cassel is a nice, team first kind of guy.... it's just that there's a reason why he never took a snap at QB for USC.

Anyone know the record for most team turnovers in a season from a giving the ball away perspective?

Anyone know the record for most team turnovers in a season from a giving the ball away perspective? 63 by the 1984 Seahawks. Currently, the Chiefs have 30 giveaways this season with 7 games left and would have to average 5 a game to break the dubious record.

They only gave the ball up 39 times in '84 I meant in terms of teams that had the most turnovers in a bad way. The '84 Seahawks are the all-time turnover team in a good way. I was looking for teams on the opposite side.

Looked on Wiki and it didn't specify, it just said turnovers, then it has the 1961 Chargers with 66 takeaways. The 1961 Broncos hold the record for most giveaways in a season with 68. www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/nfl-rapidreports/20682163/chiefs-a-team-that-keeps-on-giving-this-season

Per CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, Ben Roethlisberger's Steelers teammates are preparing for Big Ben's shoulder "sprain" to cost him "at least" a few weeks.
