That was an ugly game last night. Knicks and Bulls got f***ed over by some horrific officiating that wouldn't let them just play basketball. Don't think I've ever seen Woodson get that angry. This. I didn't tune in to see the refs.

Knicks fans are anything but bandwagoners. They had to put up with the Isiah years. THAT's loyalty.

I didn't start rooting for any other teams when the Knicks were terrible outside of the Nets (who were New Jersey and never really a big rival despite their closeness in vicinity), mainly for Jason Kidd. I've always been a huge Jason Kidd fan. But I have to say it was really hard to care about the team when Isiah Thomas was at the helm. Also my favorite players were Patrick Ewing and Charles Oakley and I never really could become a big Allan Houston fan for some reason. So when they left, that hurt my fandom.
Amazingly enough, the Knicks-Nets rivalry never really felt like it got off the ground until this year. It's not like the NHL where the Rangers and Devils developed an epic rivalry in fairly short fashion. Either the Nets sucked when the Knicks were good, or vice versa. This is the first year I can remember when both teams were good.

The Kings have suspended DeMarcus Cousins indefinitely for unprofessional behavior and conduct detrimental to the team.
Cousins got into an argument with coach Keith Smart in the first half of Friday's game and never even came out of the locker room for the second half.

Cousin's, talented but whatever talent he has he ruins by being a headcase.

I'm ready to give up on Big Cuz, but I can't. It's not like he's ever been put in a position to succeed here in Sacramento. The Maloofs are terrible owners and have run this team into the ground with their cheap coaching hires and not firing Petrie.

The Maloofs are terrible owners and have run this team into the ground with their cheap coaching hires and not firing Petrie. That's the problem with him. He is immature as a player. I can't defend him on that end anymore. His problem is he can not seem to properly function in a negative environment. He had issues in high school, then came to UK and was on a team that had 3 total losses and you never heard one single negative thing about him all year. He was a delight to everyone who came in contact with him in Lexington. Daniel Orton was the player with a horrible attitude on that team. I say outside of Anthony Davis that DeMarcus is still the most popular and beloved player from Cal's four years here at UK. I know just last week he took a group of children shopping for Christmas, didn't he? He always does stuff like that. He is incredibly charitable. That's why when people try to bust out that he's a bad PERSON I think they're way off base. He isn't mature enough to deal with losing though. He never has been. It shouldn't have to come to this, but if he was traded/went to a team that was winning and competing for real and not running in circles with mismatched parts like Sacramento? You'd see a totally different guy. You can't excuse the million and one ways he has screwed himself in Sacramento, but it's just who he is. If he got traded to a Boston or a San Antonio you'd see a night and day transformation.

f***!!!!!!
Cousins is a big piece of my fantasy team. Now I don't know if I should cut him or just bench him until they lift his suspension.

Yeah I get the sense that Cousins isn't really a bad person, just a really immature person who can't handle losing in the slightest.

The Dallas Mavericks will waive Derek Fisher, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com.

Gut feeling- Cousins will get shipped at the trade deadline or in the offseason.

I have my fingers crossed that DeMarcus Cousins gets sent to San Antonio and rooms with Sean Elliot.

OK, between that Laker/Warrior game and this NHL lockout and that we'd get 48 games at best, I'm ordering NBA League Pass.

I don't think you guys can beat the better teams in the league with Kobe taking 35 shots a night. You can beat my Warriors, because we're young. We had that game won, and we lost it. Two fast break missed lay-ups. This game made me feel like Kobe Bryant is the problem, not Nash, Gasol, or Dwight. It'll be interesting to see what you guys do.

Kobe took 41 shots...yea thats nothing we want to see.
But the reason it does not bother me is that 19 of those were in the paint...you telling me he can only draw 1 damn foul? come on now , this game was seriously one sided and refs clearly had it out for us.
And also even though his shots were obviously not falling I am just glad to see him not wilt away and actually keep trying till he finally found it...so yea 41 shots bad obviously but it don't bother me for reasons stated.

The Dallas Mavericks will waive Derek Fisher, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com. That is a mistake. We need more leadership that can mentor some of the young talent we have, plus it gives us a veteran who can make tough decisions down the stretch. I also find it amusing to see a lot of fans here complain about the officiating. What happened to playing through it? It's whining, complaining, and a conspiracy theory if I mention shady officiating. But when it happens to other teams it's legitimate.
