I've heard it all. I do not like Nirvana. I love Soundgarden. I love Stone Temple Pilots. I love Alice in Chains. I kind of like Pearl Jam. I loathe Nirvana. Don't ask me why...the same thing with Pink Floyd...just not for me, honestly. Honestly? Damn. I would of thought that Bleach is a Grunge fan's dream. Not meaning you are, but still. But I guess we're all different. Like some people, like Kurt Cobain himself hate Pearl Jam. It's odd for me. Of the bands mentioned, other than STP, I only like their work from the period when grunge got big. PJ - Ten and Vs. Soundgarden - Superunknown Nirvana - Nevermind and In Utero Alice in Chains - Dirt Anything before or after is spotty at best for me. Usually one or two songs, but that's it.

Then I must not be a real NBA or NFL fan, because I can barely name 5 members of any team much less players in the entire leagues. BTW, I hate it when people say that you are not a real fan. I was told once that I wasn't a real fan because I was critical of some of the WWE's worst gimmicks, at least in my opinion. well as a mets fan i'm annoyed of being made fun of by yankee fans who don't even know who the manager is so they're frontrunners Funny thing is, this can go both ways. I hate being looked at like *I'm* not a "real fan" when I say my favorite team is the Yankees, simply because I say "Yankees." I don't have to justify my choice of team to anyone, and believe me, I know my fair share about the team and its history. Just as there are frontrunners for good teams, there are fans who think being a martyr for a perennially poor team is a badge of pride, and look down on those who support teams that don't elicit that brand of fandom. Only the stuff you've heard is over rated, most likely. I can kind of understand where you're coming from. I like Nirvana, but I've always liked Alice in Chains, STP and Soundgarden more. Especially Alice in Chains and STP. I have Alice in Chains playing now, actually.

You're not a 3MB fan if you don't rock out when they appear.

You're not a fan of Pizza if you order bacon and pineapple.
You don't like coffee unless you drink it black.
You aren't cool unless you smoke cigarettes.

...of Street Fighter if you think Guile's the main protagonist. To me, the funny thing is that in the eyes of those who were fans of the series in the USA during its initial, huge boom in popularity, Guile was the protagonist. I was all about Street Fighter then, so in my own personal view, all of the stuff that came after Super Street Fighter II isn't really Street Fighter. Only the stuff you've heard is over rated, most likely. We're in the same boat. I love STP, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains, but never liked Nirvana or Pearl Jam. I've heard all of Nirvana's albums and I can see why they were a big deal, but I don't like them.
