Maybe they should have asked him that if that was the case why he dropped back to being a nothing within a week or two.

Yeah, I don't buy that explanation at all.

Maybe they should have asked him that if that was the case why he dropped back to being a nothing within a week or two. Imo, Kofi was never really getting a push to begin with. Randy Orton needed something to do away from the WWE Title while they focused on Sheamus. Plus if ORton really did bury Kofi, they would've pushed Kofi again once Orton became a non factor and his opinion didn't matter anymore.

Considering the source I don't buy it.

Yeah I guess you're right, it makes little to no sense of course, especially with the whole car destruction thing and so on but I suppose it was maybe meant to be a few weeks deal. Shame they wasted the buzz though.

I can't understand why fans get so riled up that one guy voices his disdain for another. Why do you guys care about "professionalism" so much anyway? I could see if these were your friends or something. I'll take honest ripping on someone over bland "it is what it is" type commentary that we usually we get from public figures/pro athletes. On his Triple Threat match in early 2010 against Randy Orton and John Cena on Monday Night Raw where Randy was heard yelling 'stupid': "Everyone knows Randy kinda has an attitude, so that's Randy being Randy. What everyone doesn't remember is that we were in a heated rivalry so a lot of what you saw was him being his character and him kinda playing to that. I thought it was real funny when I started reading these things like 'Randy Orton doesn't like Kofi', which I think is fine because it added to what we were doing at the time, it made people more interested in what we were doing… it is what it is…." Ironic he would use those words exactly.

While it's possible that they din't have any real long term plans for Kingston. I find that a little hard to believe considering IIRC they had him basically squash Orton during their Survivor Series elimination match. I have to believe they had something in mind for him before anything else came along to squash that.

Because he's not very good and WWE creative realised his limit is mid-carder at best? I wouldn't say he's not good, but he's always struck me as a Val Venis type. He has the skills, and most of the tools to succeed, but he is already where he needs to be. Pushing him past it is going to invoke the Peter Principle.

Both him and Orton (via Twitter) have brushed that incident off, with Orton saying it was part of the show, but I don't buy that s*** for a second. Something happened, he got angry, and that's that. They probably don't hate each other or anything, but yeah.

Kofi saying what he needs to say to keep his roster spot. If you were in his shoes, you'd do the same too. I don't this clears anything up regarding the situation.
