Am I the only one that thought Punk/Heymans heart attack segment was awesome? Come on that was really funny

People didn't want the tasteless part of the attitude era, the same crap that even the company mocks today. And heels always give the audience what they want. That's what makes them heels. This isn't about "heels being heels". It's about the company allowing another tasteless stunt to grace their programming in order to get cheap heat instead of taking the high road and being classy about an extremely serious situation. And the WWE wonders why they can't escape the stigma of being low brow entertainment...

Paul straight up looked like he had a crush on Punk. It was great.

Isn't this what great heels should do? Take a kernel of a truth and then twist it around and exaggerate in order express disdain for the fans? I thought Heyman was great. Who cares if his points were correct or not?
Emotional Heyman with a crush on Punk is just brilliant.

I thought it was Heyman's finest moment in the WWE.

I swear with Heyman and Punk, people either absolutely love them and will defend everything they do, or loathe them and will pick them apart at every turn. I thought it was great heel work. As far as being tasteless, I think the whole point is it was supposed to be tasteless, but it wasn't shock value just for the sake of it like a lot of the Attitude (and Post-Attitude, if we're keeping score) stuff was. If this kind of stuff really offends someone on a personal level, I'd ask what the hell they were watching wrestling for anyway. I mean, it's not like Punk and Heyman are portrayed as FACES doing this kind of stuff. Paul Heyman is not Fritz Von Erich!

I like how it looked like Heyman was legitimately crying.

He is trying.
