Ok, I think I'm starting to get the picture. So he's kind of a troublemaker, is that essentially what you're telling me? He's a blatant f***ing hypocrite who made his name venomously disrespecting celebrities with no provocation with really mature methods like drawing over pictures of them with things like semen coming out of their mouths........then tries to save face while going on about the evils of cyber-bullying at the same time. f*** him. Oh.

I don't think it did anything for Perez in terms of having much publicity. It certainly did less to the Divas.

It wasn't good, but it basically was what divas matches today are:
bathroom breaks.

And he looks like Kevin Dunn's illegitimate child. Bullshit! Show me one woman that will agree to procreate with a guy having THAT face!

And he looks like Kevin Dunn's illegitimate child. As I said in the Raw thread he looks like the lovechild of Hornswoggle and Ron Perlman.

He may not have ruined it, but he didn't do anything to help it. i don't hold that against him; he was out of his element and shouldn't have been there to begin with.

The production team was on the ball playing the music at the right time to mask the impending boos.

Can't believe I'm saying this but Snookie at WM was better than this piece of crap. That was just overall bad. Really? So, weeks of build up for Snooki, her actually having and WINNING a match at WRESTLEMANIA (getting the pin even) is far worse than Perez Hilton coming out, announcing the diva's, interfering in a two minute match that meant nothing and that they have every other week anyway..was worse? Snooki overall was better than something like that. Snooki at least had some good moments in the time she was here. Even if some people dislike her I'd say her during the backflips was far more impressive than anything Perez did. I can't think of anything positive in that guy's appearance Monday. It only made the hated Divas matches more hated.

Wait, no the segment was harmless. Yeah. Perez Hilton ain't shit. Paris Hilton as guest host would have been FAR worse.

My satellite went out right before his segment due to a heavy rainstorm and by the time the satellite came back up, it was long over. The good Lord saved me from having to watch that annoying fruitcake make an ass out of himself, that guy is a jackass.

It's just WWE trying to put on a celebrity here and there so that celebrity's fans go "hey! it's wrestling! I NEVER THINK ABOUT WATCHING THAT!" or "hey! wrestling must not be THAT lame, if such-and-such is on there". Its not something thats going to be immediately reflect in drawing money, its just WWE trying to cull public perception more in their favor. I agree with this. It's a harmless way to try to expand their audience. The idea is that people who wouldn't ordinarily watch the show might tune in to see their favorite celebrity. The whole "WWE has something for everyone" idea comes into play here, I think; it might actually be possible to get some of those new viewers to continue watching because it is designed to appeal to as wide an audience as it can, while still remaining true to it's essence. Plus, wrestling is fun; anything that can get people to give it a chance is worth it, IMO. Especially when it only consists of a 2 or 3 minute segment, as it did on Monday.

I know it was short, had no effect, and was instantly forgotten by most people in TV land... but that doesn't change just how absolutely terrible that segment was.

Well, whatever the merits of this particular celebrity, the idea of having celebrities on the show in general is not something I object to. I agree with that. WWE has benefited from celebrity involvement in the past (Mike Tyson, Donald Trump, Mayweather, etc.). But Z-level "celebs" like Perez should be avoided. It benefits no one. And is hardly a feather in WWE's cap.
