Will Vince still own it? Of course. He will have a lot less input into the product (and the other areas of WWE) which will mainly be run by Stephanie on the business side and Triple H on the creative side.
Who will be the main eventers? Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler and Richie Steamboat. The rest will be unheard of as of today.
Who will be the commentators? Scott Stanford and CM Punk.
Will the brand split still exist? Does it even exsist today?
Who will be the champions? One of the main eventers listed above will have the heavyweight title, the rest will be held by guys currently just starting out on the indies now.
Will it be more popular, or less popular than it is now? Slightly more popular. There won't be a boom period, instead it will have a steady rise in the mainstream.

Why does everyone constantly talk about Vince McMahon dying? not just this thread, but also the Punk promo and the recent Cornette interview. He is only 66 and I can honestly see him living well into his 90's (and probably overseeing some aspect of the company in one way or another). I think it's because newz reports like to make it sound like he's in worse shape than Mr. Burns and has about 50 meltdowns per day.

Sure, it's possible, but its not out of the question to think the man could be dead 20 years from now. WWE is going the way of the music video. The WWE Channel will flourish and eventually carry all of WWE's programming (including Raw/Smackdown), but as time goes on they'll show less and less wrestling, until it's all about Flavor of Brotus' Love, Yachting With The Miz, and game shows hosted by Santino.

The following people will not be in the Hall of Fame: Randy Savage Bruno Sammartino Owen Hart
Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler will be at the top of the company, but Cena will be in the role of "main eventer who doesn't do as much now but is always there." Randy Orton will have moved on.
I'm 50/50 on whether Vince is still alive. 60's is about the age where life begins to catch up, and Vince has had a hell of a life. So by 70's, I could see him being gone, but he's still rich as hell and thus likely has all the best care possible, so I could see him surviving.
They'll still have raw and Smackdown with "exclusive" wrestlers, but that will only matter for the draft shows and for the obligatory Raw vs. Smackdown events.
WWE Network will eventually resort to showing House and How I Met Your Mother reruns.

I would mark for Yachting with the Miz

1. I think Vince McMahon will be dead by then. I hope I am wrong, but he is over 60years old now and all the rumors about Steroids and other drugs make me thing that we won´t see his 70th birthday.
2. John Cena will be GM or some sort on and will be on our TV. But he will be retired.
3. CM Punk will be an announcer
4. Triple H will take over WWE for real and Stephanie will be CEO.
5. Randy Orton will be retired because of his injured shoulder.
6. Cody Rhodes will be one of the biggest stars of the company
7. Big Show will be dead. He will die like Andre the Giant + Weight Problems. Again I hope not.
8. Chris Jericho will be long retired and will have nothing to do with WWE. in 2022 there will still be no one that cares for Fozzy.
9. TNA will be gone.
10. Hulk Hogan will be on Monday Night Raw and will be running wild brother!!
and the most obvious one:
Jerry Lawler dies of anal bleeding

In 2002, I predicted that Cena and Orton would be the "Stars" in 10 years. They achieved that accolade a hell of a lot sooner than I expected.
I see Orton and Cena taking the HBK/Taker/HHH route and being treated as legends who still mix it up with the current crop.
Miz will be seen as a legend. Ryder will be a multiple time WWE champion.

One of the current young stars will scratch and claw their way from the bottom and "finally win the big one after all these years."

Vince McMahon pulls a Inoki, and gets forced out of his own company, leaving Steph and Triple H in charge of WWE. Vince forms RWF, Real Wrestling Federation, which features over the hill wrestlers, national stereotypes, celebrities from the 80s and incest storylines.

Will the brand split still exist? No
Who will be the champions? The main eventers
Will it be more popular, or less popular than it is now? About the same

Will Vince still own it? Yes. He may take a lighter workload, but he'll still have a lot of control.
Who will be the main eventers? CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Derrick Bateman Zack Ryder, Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, Antonio Cesaro, Dean Ambrose, Sheamus, The Miz. Cena and Orton will be in the HHH/Taker/HBK positions.
Who will be the commentators? Josh Matthews and some new guys. I'm going to guess a guy named Steve.
Will the brand split still exist? No. The Raw Supershow is showing signs of splitting that.
Who will be the champions? World Champion: Derrick Bateman Intercontinental Champion: Eddie Edwards United States Champion: Colt Cabana Tag Team Champions: Richie Steamboat & Seth Rollins Divas: Shaul Guerrero
Will it be more popular, or less popular than it is now? More popular. I think another boom period is coming soon. It's possible 2022 may be the downfall of said boom, though.

2022:
Hogan will be dead. Vince will not, and he'll be as George Steinbrenner as ever.
Sinking TV ratings will cause quite a few networks to go under, WWE Network being one of them, and they will radically change the content of their programs to attract customers. They will find alternate forms of media and will regain some success through those forms.
Cena will have suffered a significant enough injury such that he will only be dragged out for very special occasions.
Teddy Long will still be the Smackdown GM, will still be on probation, and will still say "HOLLA HOLLA PLAYA, TONIGHT'S MAIN EVENT WILL BE A TAG TEAM MATCH"
Vickie's daughter will be a successful heel diva, with her eventually taking after her mother.
Cody Rhodes and Dean Ambrose will be multi-time world champs.
Big guy matches will be a thing of the past since they won't find believable enough talent.

Will Vince still own it?>> If the WWE succeeds, the McMahon family [whether Vince is alive or not] will. If not, then the WWE is likely sold to some cable juggernaut.
Who will be the main eventers? Zack Ryder, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, Bo Rotunto, Richie Steamboat, some people we haven't heard of yet.
Who will be the commentators? Michael Cole and CM Punk
Will the brand split still exist? No
Who will be the champions? World Champ: Zack Ryder IC Champ, Tag Team Champs, and Divas' Champ will all be in the hands of someone who we haven't heard of yet [and in particular, the Divas' Champ is in junior high as we speak at the most]
Will it be more popular, or less popular than it is now? About the same popularity, but at least one "boom" comes in between

Will Vince still own it? Not by 2022, no. He'll be in his mid-70s, assuming he is still in good health. I think he'll be forced off the road. Something will happen that makes him realize he has to stop at his non-stop rate, and only then will the reigns be handed over to Hunter. He'll probably be unable to watch it or pay attention to it when it gets to this point.
Who will be the main eventers? Very few of the guys currently there. Cody Rhodes is the only one from the modern era still around regularly. Maybe Ziggler. Cena becomes a special attraction (and that happened by 2020).
Who will be the commentators? Striker will be back, and then a few people we've never seen as of 2012. Everyone else will be gone. Or Cole will be some sort of hand either backstage or on-screen.
Will the brand split still exist? Heavens no. After the network failed to generate anything, they'll slowly start sinking until they have only one show on television a week (Raw - renamed to simply "WWE"), with other side-shows airing online. Smackdown will be gone entirely.
Who will be the champions? Nobody we know of as of 2012.
Will it be more popular, or less popular than it is now? Far less. Not on the verge of extinction, but clearly phasing itself out in its current form. They'll try many things to bring in new viewers, including doing away with a lot of in-ring action for a more realistic approach. But they'll be only a step above where TNA presently is (which will be long gone by 2022, reverted into an indy promotion). They'll only have Wrestlemania on PPV, with the others being internet PPVs as the internet continues to take over traditional television.
