When I watched the "Self Destruction" dvd, I actually got the impression Vince feels badly about how things fell out between him and Hellwig. The way Vince talked made it seem like at one time he considered Jim Hellwig to be a friend, and that Hellwig's own paranoid personality and eccentric behavior really drove a wedge between them. About the only time I ever felt sorry for either man.

He's right about Nash. But, for him to say that he's not a dickhead who steals the spotlight from younger guys is bulls*** since that's EXACTLY what he did when he came back to the WWF and when he made his appearance in WCW. So yeah, shut the f*** up both of you. 50 plus years old and they're acting like 16 year old drama queen girls. I'm starting to think that all wrestlers should have their twitter accounts suspended until they learn to get over themselves and grow the hell up. That was well over a decade ago when he probably thought he could still go and people actually wanted to see him. Back then, it was okay for him to still be around. Guys like Hogan, Piper, Flair, & Savage still were. Why not give it one last go? Fast forward to 2012. No. It's not okay for him or any of those other legends, Nash included, to still be around. Warrior understands that. Nash, apparently, does not. Back then, there was a use for the guys you mentioned. Warrior served no purpose, didn't bring either company he was with any extra money or publicity, and wasted time with his segments that served to build up terrible feuds. He may understand it in 2012, but he sure as f*** didn't understand it in 1998. I'm not defending Nash here at all, his return ended up serving ZERO purpose. All I'm saying is Warrior is not perfect when it comes to wasting space and taking time away from younger talent.

What makes it right for Warrior to call him a dickhead exactly. If if his point is valid, why the shot?

I haven't seen Warrior say anything about Nash on Twitter at least. The clash of two HUGE egomaniacs who think they brought more to wrestling then they realistically did. Who wins? Somebody tweeted the Warrior and asked why he doesn't return to the WWE like Kevin Nash and the Warrior replied with something along the lines of "I don't wanna be a jackass and dye my hair and take TV time away from young guys." Wow....never thought I'd side with Warrior in an argument.

Well, Warrior did one "comeback" match (outside of WWE) a while back. It was horrendous and embarassing. Nash had a match last year and looked rather good. Sorry, but Kevin Nash is, at this point, a far, far better wrestler than Warrior. To be fair Nash was facing Triple H, while Warrior was facing Orlando Jordan. You can't exactly compare the talent of Orlando to HHH.

He may understand it in 2012, but he sure as f*** didn't understand it in 1998. I don't get what you're saying. How did he not serve any purpose in 1998? It's not like they signed the guy and he sat at home collecting paychecks...which would be not serving a purpose. You can argue that he took time away from the "younger" guys, but that's also false since he wrestled only 3 or 4 matches in WCW, and they were all against vets. And it's impossible to say that he brought absolutely no interest to the fans or made money for the company whatsoever in either 1996 or 1998. I'm sure it probably was underwhelming for either company, however you could probably say the same for almost any person they brought into that situation, so I don't put the blame on him as I would the company. Warrior was 39 during his last run with WCW. Kevin Nash is 52. Big difference.

Warrior may be SAYING the "right" things, but I have a hunch that if Vince actually offered him the opportunity to dye his hair and take up TV time, he'd leap at the chance.

ugh. Every time I see these guys bashing each other on Twitter I just think it's pathetic. We're supposed to respect wrestlers for being cool, tough guys. They are bitching about each other over the internet like little girls. If Harley Race ever got a Twitter account and started knocking people I swear I'd quit the business for ever. You are both over fifty. Get over yourselves. If Harley Race got a Twitter account that would be hilarious. I couldn't see him knocking people. But imagine the idiot hasbeen that calls him out on Twitter. He wouldn't get a response, instead Harley would just show up at his doorstep and punch him the face. I think Piper said it best, all this battle of words needs to be actual confrontation rather than fighting over the internet like a bunch of teenage girls. Some wrestler needs a Twitter account that would actually do something about it, maybe everyone would shut up afterwards.

I think it's weird how people are claiming Kevin Nash is 'stealing limelight'. He is no longer in a position to do that is he? He was clearly asked by WWE to come back to work an angle for them. What I know of Pro Wrestling I think it is safe to say there are very few people who would turn that offer down. If WWE offer you a spot, you take it. If WWE offered Warrior a spot, he'd take it. So I am not buying the 'I don't want to steal the limelight' line Warrior is going with. The reason Warrior hasn't returned is because WWE aren't particularly interested in him coming back. If they really wanted him, they'd offer him a deal he wouldn't turn down.

So many people defending Nash when Warrior was right. I'm kinda disgusted right now. As disgusted as I was when I saw all the people backing the nutjob? ONE decent comment does not a turnaround make. Helwig/Warrior/WhateverHeDecidesHisNameIs is still bats--- crazy.

For someone who don't know the whole Warrior backstory and why everyone dislikes him could someone here write a short line summarizing what and why?

So I imagine this video response will be the Warrior version of 'When Keeping it Real Goes Wrong'.

And who has Nash taking TV time away from? HHH was going to use that time anyway and I'd rather see him do it against Nash than squash someone like Christian or a younger guy on the card. You can't say he was killing younger talent. And it's not like people weren't happy to see him back for a bit when he showed up at the Rumble or when he surprised Punk a few months ago. Sounds like this thread is almost turning into a Nash Bash
