I like RVD well enough, but he would add nothing to the WWE at this point. If they were going to bring people back, I'd much prefer Tajiri, Super Crazy, or Paul London(yes, i know he's insane.) HY-BRID DOL-PHINS *clap clap clapclapclap* HY-BRID DOL-PHINS *clap clap clapclapclap* Wow! This is the most hilarious promo I have ever seen.

He's boring and out of shape. Round is a shape. As is quadrilateral.

Personally, WWE should start doing a thing where they bring in former superstars at random to wrestle the current stars and maybe even feud with them.
I wouldn't mind RVD or Jericho showing up one episode to wrestle Ziggler or Sheamus and then the next week disappear off into the sunset.

I hope he comes back but I hope Vince gives him the respect he's due just the same.
He left on his own accord....he's realized TNA was a waste.
Come back to WWE. They know you. You can be the second coming of Jeff Hardy.

I've thought about this for a while actually. The sad thing is that if Morrison is leaving the company we wouldn't even get that epic spotfest. It could have a "young gun vs. aging gunfighter" quality to it.
This is actually one time where I'd prefer someone on Raw. Let's face it, right now Raw is a dorky comedy act show without much in the way of serious wrestling. SD has enough guys to put on a serious wrestling show...Raw could use RVD. How did WWE manage not to do the obvious 4:20 vs. Straight Edge feud with RVD and Punk?
And I have no idea if it would be any good, but why not let RVD take a shot at the Taker's streak? It would be a big name guy coming in to challenge Taker, and WWE wouldn't have to job a younger guy out. RVD has the big time moves to be viable there too, maybe he'd miss the Van Terminator at a critical moment and Taker wins.

I don't know what TNA does to people but once they go there you just lose complete interest in them. I was excited when I heard RVD was coming back to wrestling ....then he went to TNA I said meh I'll still check it out. now it's like whatever. people like Foley and Booker have become interesting again since leaving TNA. Nash is debatable. Hardy got his best run after leaving TNA the first time. TNA just seems to suck the life out of performers. This. A prime example would be Jeff Hardy, even though I don't completely blame TNA on that one. However, he was arguably TNA's biggest acquisition, he'd just came off a tremendous run in the WWE where he was rivaling John Cena as the companies top face and in his limited time in TNA he hasn't done anything noteworthy. Like I said, I don't completely fault TNA for that one, but I'll never fully understand why took one wrestling's most popular characters and turn him heel. In regards to Rob Van Dam, like a vast majority. I was a huge mark for him in early-to-mid 2000's, but I just don't think he has a place on the current product. I wouldn't mind to see a on-off appearance at the Royal Rumble or a random Raw, but I just don't have any interest in seeing him on a week-to-week basis on Smackdown or Raw.

And vs Taker at mania has the added bonus of being Streak vs. Streak as Van Dam's undefeated too. You're not making any sensimilia! Everyone in this thread needs a Zig Zag immediately. Yeah we're all buds here.

Due to the PG rating he'll have to change his name to Rob Van Darn. Lol - gold right there my friend. Would love to see him back. Still one of the big missed opportunities not pulling the trigger and making him the guy in 2001/02. He was insanely over during that time period and was performing brilliantly. By the time he eventually won the title in 2006 it was too late in my view. Would be good to see him return though.

Reading the NEWZ sites it looks more and more likely for him to come back. His contract is up in March and and it quoted power slam magazine as saying WWE has mutual feelings on his return too.
Last minute addition to the money in the bank match?

If he could get back into shape and maybe try to reinvent himself in a way, I'd have no problem with that.

I wouldn't be surprised if WWE brought him back, since he got some impressive pops, and could put on good matches with a lot of people.
That said...there's nothing really left for him to do. In fact, I'll go so far as to say the main event scene is pretty damn crowded already. I don't think WWE will ever put the belt back on him after what he pulled before. I suppose if he wanted to be JTTS, but at this time...there's nothing all that impressive that he could do, outside of an occasional appearance.
