People keep saying that the seats up high are just fine but that really depends on the size of the arena. I don't know how big this one is, but I've sat in the nosebleeds in the Georgia Dome for a few different shows, most recently being Wrestlemania 27. I've had to use binoculars every time and sometimes you get a bad spot where you can't even see the tron because of the angle you're sitting at. If they have the cube screen above the ring you should be fine though. Another problem I've had is that it's really hard to hear when you're up high. The sound seemed to be really delayed and echoed really bad. It made it impossible to understand any promos and even made the music sound like crap. Though that might just be because it's a dome, it's certainly not a problem I've heard others talk about.

A friend and I got medium seating at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN (Sadly, not last night. While we did see an awesome Chris Jericho/CM Punk cage match we also saw Kane/Rey Rey with an Evan Bourne run in). I didn't have a problem with anything. We were in the perfect seating. We could see the Tron and the action. I actually found some of the antics that occurred between commercial breaks to be amusing. JBL sitting in ring and a new Dolph Ziggler walking up to him, trying to shake JBL's hand, and walking away was funny. Granted, a PPV would be different.
Personally, unless you WANT a chair and can AFFORD the VERY front row I'd stray from the floor seating. Seriously, it's for the best.

Like has been said, if you're not in the first few rows DO NOT GET FLOOR SEATING. I had seats two sections back behind the announcers on the floor for Night of Champions in Chicago a couple years back. Around $90 and I was staring at the tron most of the night. Couldn't see the entrance ramp, couldn't see when the action went out of the ring, just awful. Every other event I've gone to, I've been in the "nosebleeds," but Allstate Arena really isn't huge so they aren't awful seats. I prefer being up that high since its sorta like a birds eye view of everything thats going on. Especially for a Rumble I would want to make sure I have higher seats so I can sorta look down on the action. Just take a look at the seating chart and make sure there's nothing in your way of seeing.
I also had seats in the lower level off the floor for the Raw before Mania last year, and I was a little annoyed with that, too. It was on the TV side and people were holding up their signs all night, even when it as obvious they weren't filming the crowd, and we were way too far back to be seen by the camera anyway. Fans with signs are ungodly annoying.

3. Arenas decide the prices and love to make a massive profit so, it's best to have eaten something before the show and merch can be quite expensive (programmes, WWE radios [if you want to listen to the commentary for 25$ I think] and the like). What the hell? Who would want to listen to Cole if they don't have to? Unless they're blind in which case I'd have thought that WWE/the arena would supply something for free. I suppose you do get a FM radio out of it though. www.wwe.com/shows/summerslam/wwe-live-radios-summerslam

Man trying to convince parents is hard sometimes lol... And I really enjoy the idea of the "nosebleeds" because of the fact I can sorta look down at the action. My only concern is that I worry my little brother wont be able to see. Also, I would probably get that WWE radio thing. Commentary doesn't bother me.

Also, I'm sure you know this already, but since I have a relative phobia of sudden loud noises (not enough to keep me from going, mind you), I should warn you, pyro is way the f*** louder than it sounds on TV, so be ready for it. Kane especially drives me nuts because there's no warning for his entrance, especially if he's in the Rumble. Seconded. Taker's pyro scared the shit outta me haha

I was at Royal Rumble last year. I was so far up in the balcony, the concrete wall was behind my chair.
IMO, Balcony's probably the best for the Rumble. I could see everything happening in the ring. Worked out great for me at a RAW I went to in 2000. There was a cage match, I could see over the top and had a great view of everything.
From where i was, I could see the stage hands getting the pyro ready. That's when I knew to block the ears.
Kane's was hot, but not loud.

It IS outrageously expensive though (Think $5-$7 for a Soda & Hot Dog) Tbh thats pretty cheap if it was in my country. yeah bud try going to a football match (soccer game) in England and tell me that's expensive, a half time pie and pint will set you back 10 quid at some grounds.

It won't keep me from going but it's one thing I hate, especially Kanes for the same exact reason you mentioned.. I've had it all my life from fire drills in school to fireworks etc.... Sorry didn't mean to go off topic, but as other posters have mentioned... Totally worth it where ever you sit, but off the floor is the best in my opinion. Have fun and just enjoy going live.. There's nothing like it.

I was thinking of taking my gf with me and my brother so she can go out and buy my food/t-shirts since she doesnt like the product. She already drops me off at the arena so i can avoid parking. keep one of those things in mind when going to a ppv or live event. Parking can be a bitch and the lines to the stuff are long.

Tickets have been bought! Can't wait. EDIT: Actually I have another question. Are printed Ticketmaster tickets supposed to be whole pages? Seems a bit unnecessary.
