Failed? Guys would KILL to have Lesnar's MMA career. He had to be the #1 draw in the history of the UFC. yeah, Kimbo Slice was a fail, not Brock I wasn't really trying to get into an argument about how successful Lesnar's career was. He had a great start, but after the disease he wasn't the same after and lost two big fights which lead to his retirement. It certainly wasn't the career people thought he was going to have when he first showed up. That's all I meant by failed. Maybe bad choice of words, but w/e.

So, wait let me just clear this up. You wouldn't mind if Brock, who ran away from the wwe, came back for the marquee pay per views, BUT everyone and their uncle will and still s*** on the rock for basically doing the same?? some people lol.. I don't have that attitude to the Rock. IT DOESN'T MATTER what other people think of his return ;D

Hell yeah he does. Not right away, but for Wrestlemania 29 I'd bet money on it. There's a shit load of money to be had if he did. Lesnar won't draw as much as he did for UFC but I'm damn sure plenty of casual fans that haven't followed in a while would check it out.
My personal preference would be against Punk. The promos would be amazing, especially if they brought Heyman in too as Brock's manager.

Sure. But he will take a POUNDING on the mic from some guys. I can just see it now: Brock: "Punk, me and you at Wrestlemania 29, what do you say?" Punk:"Why, all I would have to do is kick you in the stomach one time and you'll crumble. If I can't do that, I'll punch you in the face and make you boogie around the ring." That won't happen. His medical issues took a toll on him and made him a weaker fighter. Anybody that rags on him for that is an asshat. He did a breakdancing number man. It was funny. Besides,I get that alot of people love him but brock is a jerk. This is a guy who said "Frank Mir had a horseshoe up his ass, I told him that a year ago" before following it up with "I pulled that SOB out and beat him over the head with it." This is a man who said"I don't like gays. Write that down in your little notebook. I don't like gays." This is a man who flipped off fans after a fight. I think its fair game.

They'd have to bring Heyman in to talk for Brock because let's face it, Brock never was the best on the mic when he was in WWE.

I personally hope not but unfortunately Vince has dollar signs ringing in his eyes right now and Im sure is blowing up every single communication to lesnar he can even if he is only up to with carrier pigeon technology.
I am content with Rock this year and the potential Austn Vs Punk and Mania 29 Lesnar is just not that interesting at all to me.

You bring up how his last fight ended thanks to those issues (a kick to the stomach) and it'd be easy to build up Punk and his "muay thai" background as being able to take Brock out. Yeah, but to bring up that fight you'd also have to bring up Lesnar's opponent in it. Overeem is a 260 lb former K-1 champion. CM Punk is 190 lbs with an amateur muay thai background. CM Punk can go out there saying he could win a match against Lesnar, but it'd be silly to say he could knock him out. Brock just got finished by a 260 lb beast. Punk would barely make MW if he was in MMA and even with his fake ass MMA background noone would buy into him knocking out Brock like that.

He should come back. He doesn't need to wrestle every week. Just occasional big four PPV's. So, wait let me just clear this up. You wouldn't mind if Brock, who ran away from the wwe, came back for the marquee pay per views, BUT everyone and their uncle will and still s*** on the rock for basically doing the same?? some people lol.. Let me clear it up for you, friend. You heard something on a message board criticizing the Rock, and now you've heard a second thing on a message board that doesn't seem to agree with the first sentiment you heard. You think the message board is a hypocrite. Is that about the long and the short of it? The solution is simple: a message board comprises many individual members. These individual members have individual opinions. Suggesting that a member is hypocritical for having an opinion that is not in line with another opinion you heard another member voice is about as sensible as going home and calling your mother a hypocrite because she's doesn't agree with something Newt Gingrich said. Unless your mother is Newt Gingrich, that is a difference of opinion, not hypocrisy.

As soon as I heard the news I automatically thought does this mean Lesnar is coming back to the WWE? Cause if so I wanna see him F5 the first person he sees.

It's wrestling, they've done and forced stranger on us and I doubt the average fan would really have a problem believing it.

Lesnar would probably come back for a match every once in a while, but nothing more than that. His Diverculitis has taken a serious toll on his body and he wouldn't be able to handle the constant working and road life of WWE.

I remember Lesnar coming across like a dick in the buildup stuff to Velasquez/Lesnar. I don't have quotes and I guess I'd have to re-watch it to like cite stuff to really present a credible argument, but I do feel like there's a bit of rewriting miztory going on here.

YES!! Was going to post this last week because i felt that depending on how this fight went that Lesnar could come back to the WWE. Wouldn't suprise me. He never said no, and if the money was right he'd certainly do it.

I'm not saying it isn't believable that Punk would beat him....i'm saying that mocking him to his face saying that he would do what Overeem just did, yeah unless you're a little kid, even a wrestling fan would look at the two of them and not believe it for a second.

I wouldn't favour Punk vs Lesnar. Punk would look like a toothpick next to Lesnar, and there's no way Lesnar could keep up with Punk on the mic.
Now HHH vs Lesnar might work better. The promos wouldn't need to be more than each guy saying "I am unstoppable/invincible/the dominant force blah blah". Of course HHH would need to do the job for Lesnar.
