If you heard Lawler before they cut to commercial, he sounded worried. There had to be more to it. Now that you mention it, I was wondering about that, too. I was telling my friend "It looks like he forgot his lines". I mean, he grabbed the mic, then dropped it and skipped around the ring. The look on his face, as troll-y as it was, kinda looked like the face of an on-stage actor who just completely froze and blew his lines. slightly off topic but LOL @ your sig. Mark Henry's got that sexual chocolate look. he's gonna ravage that poor girl.

I don't see the brilliance of it. If you are a Jericho fan you probably liked it. I liked it for a while but then it kinda dragged. I mean I get it, he's "acting" like a super babyface the likes of what you seldomly see. He took the prototypical babyface character and turned it up to 11, and did it for what to me seemed like too long. I'd love to think it is part of a grand scheme but Im more than willing to bet he does this for a few weeks and then he gets shifted back into the midcard and it gets wrapped up in a tight bow.

The post-RAW "interview" with him is absolutely amazing! I nearly died laughing when the cameraman asked him if he was going to be in the Royal Rumble only for Jericho to stop and turn on his jacket before continuing to walk away.

My god, I'm in love with Jericho all over again. That was absolutely fantastic!

With everything that Jericho has said since he left the last time and the hype build up here it would be absolutely moronic for WWE to do this for "a few weeks" before getting dropped.

Previously I didn't care either way about that jacket
Holy hell I now love it
Also maybe Jericho's new gimmick is that of a silent movie fan
"Silent Hollywood" Jericho has a nice ring to it lol

My brother was/is hoping that he says something like "I have no idea what that was about..."

I'll bet you my life savings you're dead wrong. Like he's coming back from a 16 month break, when he never HAS to if he doesn't want it, to come out smiling and go to the mid card. That doesn't make any sense at all.

...Did Pillman really pull out his dick? Wouldn't surprise me if he did. The ECW fans chanting "LET HIM PISS" when security stopped him was tremendous.

Pillman went in front of a crowd that I hate to say took itself way too serious. A crowd that always embraced the anti-heros who came over from other promotions who didn't seem to get elevated to the top of the card because of "politics" and because fans of other promotions aren't as smart as the hardcore ECW fans. Pillman played on that and then turned it around on them when they were all in his corner. Jericho came out and said nothing and it became pretty obvious early on he was piling it on thick.

I think I liked the interview more than the segment last night. THAT was gold.

Gotta give Jericho and the WWE credit, they did brilliantly.
They had me feeling pissed off and annoyed at what a let down Jericho's return was. It was only when I logged on here that I realised the whole thing was deliberate and realised the genius of it. In hindsight it was great. He got a crowd which was HUGE for him to start booing him without saying a word.
