Some of my choices won, some didn't, but all of these were entertaining to read. I'm surprised that Sin Cara won Newcomer of the Year, and that Dolph got Most Improved (he was great in 2010 as it is). Also pretty surprised that Ricardo's table bump at TLC won Spot of the Year over Spider-Morrison in the Royal Rumble. Above all, though, kudos to FSin and Excellence of Execution on a great article. Nice job, guys!

The picture for Michael Cole as worst commentator is perfect.

Kelly Kelly was apart of the three best WWE diva matches this year yet wins Worst Diva. Go Figure.
Also, I expected Punk to win, but I still say Orton got robbed for Superstar of the Year.

Most of mine won, except for Jinder Mahal for worst superstar, worst diva with Rosa Mendes, Hunico as newcomer, Nash's self texting, Punk leaving with the belt and Kane returning in the mask. Kelly Kelly was apart of the three best WWE diva matches this year yet wins Worst Diva. Go Figure. Haha, which matches were they? I remember Beth carrying her and Eve having good matches with Beth, but not Kelly.

No real surprises, except maybe Punk/Cena winning MOTY over Orton/Christian.

I don't care how many times it's said otherwise, Kelly Kelly is NOT the worst diva on the roster, Rosa Mendes is. Period, point black.

Here were my votes:
In the Best category:
Superstar of the year: CM Punk - He's done it all this year, no denying him
Match of the year: Punk/Cena at MITB - Crowd was awesome, match was amazing and it was what I love about wrestling.
PPV of the year: MITB
Angle of the year: Punk's rise to mega star/MITB build.
Tag team of the year (despite major lack thereof): Ummm....AirBoom I guess.
Diva of the year: Beth Phoenix
Promo of the year: Punk's initial worked shoot to kick off the MitB build.
Newcomer of the year: Hunico
Breakout Star of the year (meaning the one who broke from the bottom of the card to higher heights): Gotta be Zack Ryder. Going from future FE recipient to US Champ and one of the most over guys on RAW is a big move.
Most Improved Star of the year (The superstar who improved the most in ring and on mic): Dolph Ziggler - Went from decent in the ring and horrible on the mic to great in the ring and solid on the mic.
Spot of the year (Best big move/bump): I guess Show/Henry and the ring collapse.
Return of the year: Triple H - No one saw those coming.
Commentator of the year: Josh Matthews. Just a shame he's been forgotten.
In the Worst category
Superstar of the year: Kevin Nash - Just abysmal at everything.
Match of the year: Cole/Lawler, any of them but, I'll just single it out to the Mania match.
PPV of the year: Over the Limit
Angle of the year: Kevin Nash's return and feud with Triple H
Tag team of the year: Wade Barrett and Zeke Jackson
Diva of the year: Kelly Kelly. I'd say Rosa but, they don't use her much.
Commentator of the year: Cole. Just Cole.
And in the other section:
Shocker of the year: Punk's meteoric rise to the top.
TV Show of the year: Muppets' RAW (or if just in general, RAW)

I didn't vote, but I enjoyed reading and they were all good choices. I think there should have been a worst promo of the year as well though, and I would nominate Ezekiel Jackson's in-ring promo immediately after winning the IC title.

The only one I can really say I disagree with is Sin Cara for best newcomer of the year. Maybe "most amount of hype for newcomer of the year", but you can't tell me he had a good year. Infact, the poor guy pretty much earned a reputation as a laughing stock.
The rest are all good picks, but man...I vividly disagree with that one.

In regards to Rosa, while she is most certainly the worst wrestler in the 60+ year history of that company, she wasn't used like Kelly was. Kelly was thrown out in most of the main divas angles, while Rosa had her job recently saved by Primo and Epico.
It's just painful to watch, and at TLC, it almost looked like she was trying to move her into certain positions and bump around her, it looked like Beth was literally wrestling an inanimate object. A good contrast was her match against Eve, where they started out getting the typical response for a divas match, but they ended up getting the crowd more into it. And while Eve is certainly not the technician Natalya is (most of the male wrestlers aren't), she is able to hold her own.

To be fair, he was probably the most over of the newcomers this year, just by being around for longer than a couple of months. Granted, I voted for Hunico, but it's not like any of the newcomers really stood out in a positive light this year for any length of time.

Yay! Thanks for all the kind words and feedback. Although, FSin, would it have killed you to run a quick SpellCheck first? ;D The only one I can really say I disagree with is Sin Cara for best newcomer of the year. Maybe "most amount of hype for newcomer of the year", but you can't tell me he had a good year. Infact, the poor guy pretty much earned a reputation as a laughing stock. The rest are all good picks, but man...I vividly disagree with that one. The thing was though that it was a very quiet year for WWE rookies. I mean, beyond Sin Cara, the only ones that got votes were Hunico, Kharma and John Laurinaitis. I don't care how many times it's said otherwise, Kelly Kelly is NOT the worst diva on the roster, Rosa Mendes is. Period, point black. I agree. Like I wrote, it was harsh for Kelly to win this while Rosa is still employed, and the votes were close. But Kelly had the majority here.

Sorry if I seemed to hit a nerve there ... it's just a bit jarring to see errors in my writing where I knew there weren't any before. If there's any way I could get into the site to fix it, I would do it myself.

It's a good article. Pretty surprised Sin Cara won out over Hunico for "Newcomer of the Year".

Oh, here were my votes.
BEST category
Superstar of the year: Randy Orton. Punk's hit higher highs and Mark Henry's come on incredibly strong in the last few months, but Orton's been more consistently great throughout the whole year.
Match of the year: CM Punk vs. John Cena, Money in the Bank.
PPV of the year: Money in the Bank. One of the best events in years.
Angle of the year: Summer of Punk II pre-HHH, even if it entailed meaningless hotshotting of the WWE Championship.
Tag team of the year (despite major lack thereof): Awesome Truth. They complemented each other so well.
Diva of the year: Beth Phoenix. Would be Kharma if her tenure wasn't cut short by her pregnancy.
Promo of the year: CM Punk's "shoot" heard round the world.
Newcomer of the year: Kharma.
Breakout Star of the year (meaning the one who broke from the bottom of the card to higher heights): Mark Henry.
Most Improved Star of the year (The superstar who improved the most in ring and on mic): Mark Henry.
Spot of the year (Best big move/bump): John Morrison's elimination avoidance at the Royal Rumble.
Return of the year: Diesel at the Royal Rumble.
Commentator of the year: Scott Stanford.
WORST category
Superstar of the year: Until he was released, The Great Khali.
Match of the year: King vs. Cole at WrestleMania.
PPV of the year: WrestleMania. It's held to a higher standard, so when it disappoints it's even more disappointing.
Angle of the year: Cole vs. JR and King.
Tag team of the year: David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty.
Diva of the year: Rosa Mendes, she botched standing still.
Commentator of the year: Michael Cole.
OTHER category
Shocker of the year: Diesel's return at the Rumble.
TV Show of the year: If we're talking overall programs, SmackDown. If it's just a single show, RAW is Muppets.
