Okay, yes, I'm a Dolph Ziggler fan like so many of you are. And yes, it's great that he's getting a WWE Championship match on one of the Big Four PPVs. However, am I the only one who's kind of bummed that we won't get to see him put in an amazing Royal Rumble performance? So many of us speculated that Ziggler would either win the Rumble or at least get the Iron Man or Most Elimination award.
Am I the only one who feels this way? What do all of you think? Please discuss.

Well, there is a chance he'll lose and enter the Rumble like last year.

Dolph isn't a stranger to wrestling more than one match on pay per view. It'd be awesome if he ended up drawing 1 or 2 after just wrestling in the match directly prior the Rumble match.

^ Yeah. Doing double duty at PPV's is almost practically part of his gimmick.

It would actually be really interesting if he lost the match and ended up winning the Rumble. Almost every winning scenario (1st winning, 30th guy winning, returning star winning, etc) has been used, but we've never had a guy lose a title match only to enter the Rumble and get another shot at it. This could be the first time it will be done and no better way to ascend Ziggler to the main event than by doing this.

People who were in the undercard are often in the Rumble, so don't be surprised if he is too.

As long as Ziggler wins the championship, I'm cool with it. #TEAMHEEL

I'm not a fan of world title/wwe title match losers entering the Rumble.

And considering I'm always giving WWE credit for trying new things (no matter how bad some of it may be), this could be a good thing. Kudos.

Yea I'm still betting on him losing to punk only to then go to the back and come back out at number 1 in the rumble and win it.

I'm not a fan of world title/wwe title match losers entering the Rumble. Neither am I. I'd rather see another wrestler who isn't on tv as much get a pay day.

I'm not a fan of world title/wwe title match losers entering the Rumble. Same here. I feel the Rumble is the rare chance for some undercard guys to get a tittle match at WM, so the match should feature more of them. I would make an exception for Ziggler this year though, in the situation outlined above where he loses to Punk, but then wins the Rumble.

Ziggler will not win. he's the dude love in the ACE vs. Punk story.

Ziggler will not win. he's the dude love in the ACE vs. Punk story. Which could be interesting if, like Foley, Ziggler ultimately goes from "hired gun" to "tool" for the boss.

Getting a title match at RR is basically a test run to see if you're ready to get your main event push, so this is a good thing. Ziggler wasn't ready last year, but I can see them pulling the trigger this time.

He doesn't need to be in the Rumble, he'll be too busy celebrating his WWE Title win.

I'm a big Dolph fan and am also bummed he's going to be in the title match. I was hoping he would get a great run in the Rumble, especially since he's his previous appearances in the match have been less then steller. With it only being 30 guys this year, I don't think the championship losers are going to be allowed in this time although I guess they could have him attack some face jobber backstage and take his spot.
This feud with Punk is concerning me because it's looking eerily similar to his feud with Edge that was happening this time last year.
