Orton lost his match last year and was in the final 4 of the Rumble. So don't shut the door on your hopes just yet...no offense

He'll probably lose the shot and win the rumble. Although, it could be a case of Johnny Ace screwing over Punk for Ziggler and making Punk climb the ladder back to Ziggler for another match, which could then transition to a Jericho feud. Just a guess.

Wait so why was Ziggler running around like an idiot with the title after winning after a countout? I got in half way through the match and was wondering if the title could change on a countout since it seemed like it did.

He took the title because he beat Punk and feels he should be the champ, like pretty much every heel ends up doing whenever they steal the belt.

The WWE doesn't even have 30 guys to put in the Rumble unless they want it filled in jobbers. He will be in it.

I'm really think that Dolph will win the Rumble. I like the idea that someone else had that he loses the match, then redeems himself in RR match to win.
Maybe we'll see another weird finish to the title match due to Ace's dodgy reffing, thus resulting in a draw or no contest or something. So, since Ziggler will have had 2 non-conclusive title matches, Vickie (or whomever) lobbies Ace about how unfair it is, and that Dolph now doesn't even have a chance to enter the Rumble, so in the interest of fairness he gets inserted in it somehow. Might be that someone gets attacked so he replaces them. Or maybe everything I've said here is hot garbage.

I don't think it's inconceivable for Ziggler to win the belt via Ace shenanigans and while hometown hero Randy Orton makes his grand return to win the Rumble. Orton will go after the WHC and the chase will be on for Punk to get his title/revenge with Ace protecting Ziggler until Mania. Jericho can take a crack at the streak or something.

Guys, I am saying this with utmost honesty, I would probably actually cry tears of joy if Ziggler lost the match and then entered at number 1 and won the Rumble.

Didn't someone lose a title match and win Money in the Bank that same night or something, or am I think of something else? I could have swore something sort of similar to this scenario played out before.

You might be thinking of when Edge lost the World Championship in the Smackdown Elimination Chamber, but then got into the Raw Elimination Chamber and won the WWE Championship. Or which ever championship he had to begin with and ended up with. I forget.

Didn't Rock wrestle for the Intercontinental title one year, and then draw a really low entrant and make it to the Final 2 once?
I agree that Ziggler should totally do the same thing.
