#2 by a country mile. Punk and Y2J would be a good match, yes, but Punk facing and presumably beating HHH at Wrestlemania would be much more symbolic in his quest for change. He's already pinned Jericho clean at least twice, but he has yet to get any sort of significant win over Hunter.
Plus not only does HHH still have good (and understandable) reason to hate Punk, he also doesn't need to go after Taker a third time- they won't top their WM27 brawl. If Jericho's going down the "glory hound" path with his character, it's easy to see him wanting to challenge Taker.

Well, if Triple H/Undertaker would be a retirement match similar to Shawn/Taker... there's the added bonus. I agree. Taker/Trips should have a retirement stip with HBK serving as special ref. Then have Punk/Jericho for the WWE title.

I'd rather see Undertaker vs. Kwee Wee than him vs. Triple H a 2nd time. ;D

If Trips had turned heel like he should've, they could've built Punk-Trips from Summerslam onwards to a big 'Mania match, and maybe in that world Jericho's return tonight WOULD lead to this new heel Jericho challenging for the streak, which would be AMAZING. So I voted for that, thinking of what could've been.
But as things are, Punk/Jericho and Taker/HHH works best currently.

I really don't want HHH vs Taker for a third time at WM.

I voted for the second option, because I really don't want another Trips/Taker for his last. But I'd prefer Punk/Y2J and someone else Taker.

I have no desire to see HHH vs. Taker again, but at least it would serve to keep HHH out of the title picture. And I'd much rather see CM Punk vs. Jericho than I would Jericho vs. Taker. So #1 wins it for me.

HHH doesn't need to do much to turn heel before a WM28 match with Punk- just attack him from behind and claim he's not worthy of being the man. The fans, who obviously aren't stupid, will boo that Hunter a lot more than they did COOHHH, who mostly displayed common sense through that character run.

Punk/Jericho and Triple H/Taker are still fresh in my mind, so I picked option #2 because we haven't really seen those matchups all that much (Punk & Jericho wrestled maybe a half dozen times between Raw, Smackdown & Superstars from '08-'09, and we've gotten 3 pay-per-view matches [WM17, WM27, KotR '02] and 1 Smackdown match from Trips and Taker). Just seems like Option #2 has fresher matchups.
