A debuting superstar (i.e. Seth Rollins) shows up and claims to be the best wrestler of all time. He backs up this claim by saying he only needs one pinfall attempt to beat his opponent. He never goes for the pin unless he feels that the opponent has been beaten to the point where he can't kick out. His opponent will go for the pin after a hip toss whereas he won't.
You could build it up all the way to WM if you wanted to. Along the way he becomes paranoid that eventually someone will kick out of his pin and starts to use more violent tactics to keep them down, eventually resorting to cheating whether it's feet on the ropes, low blows or use of foreign objects.
Eventually at WM he faces someone like, say, Zack Ryder and he feels he has the match well in hand. He goes for the pin...and Ryder kicks out. He loses his **** and goes insane, beating the crap out of Ryder and winning the match with his second pinfall attempt of the match.
What does anyone think about this?
