So here's my idea. JTG wins the MITB at Wrestlemania, however, instead of using it on either heavyweight champion (something about knowing his limits or even just plain revenge for being f'd over by someone else) he goes and talks to Ace who calls up WWE officials while backstage. An hour or so later JTG attacks a midcarder and captures that belt (I'm thinking Cody for the IC tittle).
It doesn't have to be JTG, but I think it would liven up the MITB concept as to where no title is safe from being cashed in on.
Thoughts on this?

I would have Justin Gabriel win either a battle royal or tournament to crown a number one contender to the IC belt and begin a feud with him and Cody i think the matches would be great

I've posted this one before. Triple H begins to endorse Drew McIntyre, because he decides that he would like to continue Vince McMahon's vision of Drew as the future of the WWE.

Justin Gabriel enters the Royal Rumble between #1 and #6 and makes it to the final 2/3.
The Rumble is great for legitimising guys. Punk had a huge run in the 2009 Rumble where he skinned the cat about 3000 times. Have Gabriel do that.

Drew McIntyre gets a veteran (lets say Regal) to get him back up the ladder and turn him into the vicious competitor he is. Kind of like the Flair/Carlito story a few years back, only this time the rookie actually benefits from it. BTW MITB isn't at Wrestlemania anymore, that's why it has its own PPV.

They're saying MITB will be back at Wrestlemania this year. SHOWS WHAT YOU KNOW DOOFUS! ;D I'd put Slater and Gabriel back together as a face team, and have them in a 3-way feud with Air Boom and Primo/Epico. All this would culminate with a TLC match at Extreme Rules with all three teams. It would be a huge boost for the tag division and 6 midcarders, without having to dedicate a whole ton of TV time to them. Give them something like 10 minutes on every RAW or Smackdown, mixing up singles matches, tag matches, triple threats, and backstage segments to keep it fresh every week. I think it would be great.

One day Tyson Kidd starts winning matches. He beats Trent Barettas, Yoshi Tatsus, and eventually even defeats Ezekiel Jackson and Justin Gabriel. Have this continue for months and eventually have him work his way up to one of the main shows. Have the announcers put over that ever since he's been on a massive losing streak lately Tyson has dedicated himself harder than ever to training to turn things around. Give him a new finisher he can hit on anyone, possibly a submssion, and have him submit everyone he faces for awhile.
Eventually have him go against either the Intercontinental or United States Champion and kick off a feud between the two with both men being evenly matched. Eventually have Tyson win the belt by cheating his ass off. And I don't mean have somebody interfere to give him the victory. Have it be due to his own means rather than relying on someone else.
About a year of that and he should have some decent credibility.
