HHH - Chief Operating Officer. An excuse for CM Punk to be tested both in and out of the ring to the benefit of absolutely nobody.
Close 2nd place - Mark Henry in the main event. 'Sexual Chocolate' chants will never go away with a guy who has been in angles with Mae Young, Chyna and 'Sammi' whilst dancing and reciting poetry.

Really, Cena vs Mysterio and Punk returning right after. It should've waited until at the earliest Summerslam.

Cena/Rey occurring on an episode of Raw rather than being the main event of Summerslam. Made even worse by how they announced it like 90 minutes before it happened. Punk/Del Rio can get a week of hype, yet Cena/Rey is hotshotted? And I remember it being a good match too, possibly made better if they had it at Summerslam 2-3 weeks later

I gotta agree with the complaints of HHH inserting himself into the Summer of Punk angle. Pretty much, all of the Post-MITB fallout was handled pretty poorly.

My choice: Del Rio should've just kept the WWE Title from SummerSlam to Survivor Series. The Cena/Del Rio title changes were about as useless as I've ever seen. I also agree with Cena vs. Rey for the first time on free TV...with 90 minutes buildup. I know Punk "had to come back quick" but at Slam after a Rey/Cena main would've worked just as well. Christian's 2 day title reign. That was just more a disappointing booking move than a downright horrible one. Orton as Champ didn't set SD on fire...might as well just have given Christian a real try. Close 2nd place - Mark Henry in the main event. 'Sexual Chocolate' chants will never go away with a guy who has been in angles with Mae Young, Chyna and 'Sammi' whilst dancing and reciting poetry. BOOOO!

I feel like making a sweeping statement, so I will say everything that wasn't the Smackdown main event scene (with the exception of the the quick title switch and the build to Capitol Punishment).

- Punk returning too soon after leaving and then being way too smarkish and overreliant on mentioning Stephanie.
- The walkout only lasting one week
- The decision to have a few scabs supporting HHH
- The entire motivation of the walkout. The idea that the roster would be so intimidated by Miz and R-Truth that they'd claim that was a reason for an unsafe working environment is comical.
- The ongoing humilation of Jim Ross and waste of his talents.
- Michael Cole
- The weak way Miz and Truth were booked in their feud with Cena and Rock. They never looked like a threat, and their break-up was very clumsy.
- The undermining of ADR. First with Cena exposing his gimmick by stating that he drove hired cars, and then Punk calling him boring and inspiring people to fast forward his appearances.

- Triple H burying everything else on the WM card to put over his match with Taker, and then recently clumsily implying that he ended the streak.

I think the worst one is kevin Nash coming back. Totally unneeded & didn't add anything to the product. 2nd worst - "But Hunter, we're girrrrrrrrrrrrrls."

HHH being the "avenging husband" instead of playing the smug bastard of a corporate suit who didn't like his waffle-cook employee getting all uppity. ...then came 10/10/11 Raw. That ****ing show. Damn that Triple H. DAMN THAT MAN. Not much makes me angry, but hot DAMN did that show make me want to beat him unmercifully with a phone book...yes, I know you and your Main Event Cabal are the only people who matter, Mr. Haitch. Did you really have to make that clear in a face promo? A lot of mine and other's favorites walked out on your jolly ass too, INCLUDING ALL YOUR FRIGGIN' CHAMPIONS. What a self-serving jackass. - The entire motivation of the walkout. The idea that the roster would be so intimidated by Miz and R-Truth that they'd claim that was a reason for an unsafe working environment is comical. - The weak way Miz and Truth were booked in their feud with Cena and Rock. They never looked like a threat, and their break-up was very clumsy. I could've squinted a bit and found Miz and R-Truth as threats if they were booked as kicking everyone's asses like the golden days of Nexus. Particularly if they were able to shove Triple H's head up his own ass. As much as that guy was being put over by everyone, it would've actually benefit them if they beat the crap out of him and HE TOOK THE PINFALL IN THE TAG WITH PUNK. Then it would've been just a bit easier to buy them as threats when Survivor Series rolled around and Cena asks for help. ...but NOOOOOooooo... Really, ADR should've beaten the piss out of Cena in a backstage attack for saying that...just like he should've parted the side of Punk's head with a pipe right when Punk called him "boring." You've got to have SOME suspense that the faces are going to lose these matches and that they're actually dangerous. Just...ARGH...THIS ****ING SHOW.

Punk not being away for more that 2 weeks from WWE. I know they had to strike while the iron was hot, but they could have had Punk away from the company for the month, maybe even defending the WWE Title in an indy company, to catch the company on fire.

Id say Cole/Booker at WrestleMania was the worst part. It made so much sense to just have Cole get KO'd. But they let him get in some godawful offense, and then he wins the match due to the GM reversing the decision. the crowd crapped over the whole thing, and rightly so. Cole/Lawler, you mean. And yeah, that was just stupid. That match should have been Lawler just tearing Cole ten new a**holes for ten minutes. Cole vs Lawler is my choice. At Mania maybe let Cole get a few punches in, but Lawler no sells them, Cole runs away only to be stopped by Eve, who kicks him in the nards or slaps him and throws him back in the ring, Cole tries to run away again only to be stopped by JR, and Lawler proceeds to destroy Cole. With that, Eve, JR, and Lawler all get their revenge, instead of waiting till Over the Limit.

Del Rio. Just Del Rio, almost all year. Because so many things deserve to be on this list, but this is something of an exception. The Summer of Punk angle was hurt by Trips shoehorning himself into it and turning it into the "Summer of Haitch, featuring CM Punk" angle; nevertheless, it was still quite intriguing. On the flip side (personal opinion), no amount of good booking would have made the Lawler/Cole feud tolerable past WrestleMania; Lawler should have won there, humbled Cole and let it be the end of that. Del Rio, on the other hand; imagine how much different this entire year could have been if he was booked right. Rather than having him harp on and on and on about destiny, have him win the Rumble and lose at WrestleMania, then finally win the title (after random Kevin Nash), just to lose it again, just to win it again, just to lose it AGAIN! If he had been booked stronger and more consistently as far back as WrestleMania, think of the wasted potential! All because of the WWE's god-awful, bipolar, hotshot booking; where they're willing to torpedo someone's heat entirely because an episode didn't draw the right ratings or because they merely CHANGED THEIR MINDS AT THE LAST MINUTE!

Somehow managing to drop the ball again with the big summer angle. It was a shambles. Punk coming back too early Cena vs Rey in a forgettable Raw match instead of PPV Nash sending the text Cena pointlessly taking the belt off of Cena only to drop it a week later The walkout ending after a week Honourable mention goes to The Miz's WWE Championship reign starting with him feuding with Jerry Lawler of all people and also, the entire Cole vs Lawler feud. The Corre were horribly booked too now I think of it with the inexplicable decision to use them solely to push Ezekiel Jackson which didn't turn out too well and doomed Barrett to midcard for a couple of months. As much as I enjoyed the WWE this year, creative have dropped the ball a lot now I think about it. Sometimes I actually think folks on here would do a better job writing the show than the WWE creative team. At leeast we would have had a decent Flair retirement complet with burning trascan and business suit.

The total butchering of Punk storyline by HHH, just because mister Steph Mc Mahon wanted to be sure that no angle would get over without him involved.
And by involved i mean being the center of the whole thing, not just a supporting character. And by the way, he pinned punk...Hunter sure knows how to humble the rising stars of the company.
I blame him 100% for that trainwreck.

My vote will be anything Cole/Lawler from Wrestlemania and on.
Though I do have to chime in the dumbest part about the post-MITB angle. So, the roster is pissed that HHH can't keep control of the company, which was a direct result of Miz and Truth assaulting everyone that happened to be inside Hell in a Cell once it went off the air.
They take HHH off RAW GM duties and he is replaced with Laurinaitis, and enough of the roster is happy that the walkout is done. So what is one of the first things he does...bring back Miz and Truth!
I don't even think the 10-10-11 RAW was as bad as everyone says it is, and even I got to admit that was stupid.
