Yes, but only if he does his induction speech Ace Ventura style, with a talking ass.

Sure, he was pretty over and quite popular. Also he took some impressive spots that aren't used for some reason in highlight videos. If you took this line of logic, every midcarder from the Attitude Era should be in the hall of fame. Not true- there was a wide gap between how over Rikishi actually was and how over the likes of Crash Holly and Mideon were. He was that rare midcarder that could tow the line between working wacky comedy matches and being a believably scary monster the next. Add on his run as a Headshrinker and he's got a pretty decent argument.

Why not? Koko B. ware kind of opens up the floodgates for any midcarder.

Yes. If Koko B. Ware is the measuring stick, then Rikishi definitely belongs in the HoF eventually. But I'd rather see Yokozuna inducted first.

Having seen him live and on TV at the peak of his run, I can safely say that Rikishi was more over than 99% of the current guys, so yes.

He deserves a spot, sure. Maybe best alongside Samu (himself a wrestling veteran too) as the Headshrinkers.
