I have to go with 2011. Had Christian finally win the belt, Punk's ascension made me a fan of the guy, and it was an overall more fun show.

2011 far and away. With the sole exception of a better Mania (especially Mania season) the previous year, I'd be surprised with anyone choose 2010 over how great the spring/summer was.

Honestly both years are even to me, they both had ups and terrible downs.

2011 wins. Rock came back, Punk, D Bry, Ryder, Dolph Air Boom and Del Rio all won gold, Rey won the WWE title, Mark Henry's WHC run, the whole Punk/Cena/McMahon saga (before Trips ruined it), Cougar Vickie, Kaitlin and AJ, Crazy R-Truth, better match quality... so much better than 2010.
2010 almost made me stop watching WWE for good with the boring guest host crap, NXT and the ascention of the Miz to the WWE title. Also the botched title runs of Sheamus and Swagger.

2011 and it's not even close. 2010 was way better from the beginning of the year until Wrestlemania. 2011's Wrestlemania season sucked big time because it really didn't feel special until the Raw before Mania. However, everything after Wrestlemania in 2010 was pretty much crap. Yea, Nexus was cool at first but it quickly went to s***. Bryan getting fired, and then Kaval getting released at the end of the year were rage-inducing too. At least there was the awesome Bryan/Miz feud after he returned.
On the other hand, while 2011 sucked early in the year, it picked up tremendously after Wrestlemania. It's baffling honestly. Yea, there's been a lot of crap, but the match quality has really been high and there's been a lot more to get excited about.
If we could have a year where Royal Rumble through Wrestlemania was booked as effectively as it was in 2010, and everything after was booked as good as in 2011...well it wouldn't be 2000 levels of awesome, but it'd still be a pretty damn good year.

2011 by a country mile. There were so many more positives in 2011 than in 2010 it's not even funny.

As much as I liked the Nexus, 2011 was great. Started out pretty good, got iffy between Wrestlemania/Capitol Punishment, peaked during the summer, iffy during the fall, finished great for the winter

2010 had the Straight Edge Society and the Nexus. It's also the year I started watching. 2010 wins. Why, yes, I am biased. Close call, though. EDIT: Drew McIntyre was also on tv consistently in 2010. Him being off of tv mostly in 2011 made me grumpy.

2011 gave us better story lines, more wrestlers in the main event scene. More debuting and re debuting of wrestlers too

2011
While the constant title changes were annoying, Extreme Rules and everything beyond was pretty good. Hell, John Cena has been at his far most tolerable since first winning the title.

2011 by default.
Didn't watch 2010 because 2009 made me stop watching.

2011 by default. Didn't watch 2010 because 2009 made me stop watching. Pretty much my answer, except I never actually stopped watching - wrestling just ended up as background noise and I didn't actively follow it again until the end of 2010. Even still, I enjoyed 2011 a lot. So I'd pick it anyway.

2010: People are really exaggerating the guest host influence in '10, it was mainly in '09 where it was incredibly bad. It was annoying at times but nothing destructive. This is the year that gave us... -Douchetista -Shawn Michaels absolutely losing it up to the Wrestlemania match with Taker (and a FAR better Wrestlemania) -the CM Punk/Rey feud -Nexus (until Cena killed it of course) -Bret Hart's return (despite the lousy Mania match) -a Kane title run (which featured some awful matches but hey, it also had some dynamite promos with Taker) -NXT Season 1 -CM Punk commentary, Straight Edge Society -The emergence of Daniel Bryan, with the series of Bryan/Ziggler matches -A slightly better handle on the womens division and tag team division -THAT Roddy Piper promo
I've already said enough on 2011, but I think it's comparable enough really. I guess I'd give the slightest of slight edge to 2011 for Punk/Christian/Bryan getting title reigns (I don't count Ziggler having one), but bah. Still beats 1999.

Going to go with 2010 Nexus, Wade in main events, Punk on commentary, Cole not being so infuriating, Drew Mc on tv more, NXT being entertaining, Slaybriel still tagging (NEVER FORGET!)

2011 for me. I enjoyed the 2010 Nexus run; until the end of it at least. But yeah the ascension of Ryder/Punk/Bryan/Ziggler/Cody/Truth puts 2011 over the top for me. Whatever the case, the change to PG has resulted in a much fresher product from the awkward post-attitude TV-14 years. I honestly would like the WWE to stay PG for the foreseeable future.

2011. While it had its bad moments, it has had some absolutely amazing TV.

2011 has to be the best year in the PG-WWE era, by far.

2011. I'd go as far as to claim it was the best year in WWE since 2002.
2010 had a good Wrestlemania and The Nexus (which was good for about 3-4 months). That's it.
