-Matt Striker is such an awkward mark, lol. I can't believe he made a Barry Horowitz reference. -That match between Justin and Heath was excellent. Loved the finish. -Johnny Curtis is the epitome of sleazebag. -Bateman is definitely ready for SmackDown as their main comedy guy. I'm very happy they turned him face again. They need to strike while the iron is hot. Discuss.

As entertaining as it is, I'm sad that Curtis and Bateman are feuding instead of teaming. Same with Slater and Gabriel. Would've liked to see tag team action between the four of them someday.

We would discuss, but I don't think anyone else here watches it anymore.

The thing with Striker on commentary is that he basically needs someone to humour him and bounce off of. Josh just says "No" to any question he asks, so there's absolutely no dynamic whatsoever.
Anyway, show was...alright. I didn't really get into Gabriel/Slater until the end unfortunately. Slater's powerslam off the turnbuckles was nice, he should do that more often.

So in all honesty, will they ever pick a winner between O'Neil, Young and Bateman? Or are all three of them basically on the roster now? I mean, along with Maxine and Percy Watson, they've been in battle royals and/or backstage segments, and I'm curious what their positions are in the company. Do they even reference NXT as a contest anymore, or is it presented strictly as a Superstars/Heat style show?

Damn and I thought the weekly ROH Threads have few posts. I get the feeling that many people had their discussion inside the Spoiler Thread. I wouldn't know though, because I'm not an impatient, pansy-ass jabroni.

I did get a chuckle at Striker trying to mention Eli Cottonwood of all people.
Is Eli actually still with the company or no?

Anybody catch this great exchange?
Josh: Well, that's why you always delete your texts. Striker: *chuckles* You're telling me...

I agree 100%. Striker kept trying to talk about NXT Seasons of the past, he mentioned Jaime Keyes and Eli Cottonwood, and Josh acted like he had never heard of those people before in his life or knew nothing of NXT seasons which he called every episode of. Then anytime Striker calls an obscure move or references someone of wrestling past, Josh sounds like he's rolling his eyes and doing his best to move on to something else. The Heath/ Justin match was really good, I especially liked Justin hitting the 450 from a springboard position rather than the turnbuckle. Also, I think the Bateman/ Curtis feud is one of the best things going right now. I really like both their characters and Maxine's. Derrick as the guy who just can't help loving a crazy woman, Curtis as a complete slimeball, and Maxine as a psycho girlfriend, her slap before making out with them is really funny.

I like how they're hyping up that they're approaching 100 episodes.
But 46 of those episodes are from this season! They should hype up the 50th episode of NXT Redemption too...
Also nearing 30 episodes since the last elimination.

What's funny is the episode they're hyping up as their 100th one will actually be the 99th.

We would discuss, but I don't think anyone else here watches it anymore. I sure do. It's my favorite wrestling show every week. Between Striker's commentary, the awesome Bateman/Maxine soap opera, and the great wrestling, it's amazing.
