Their whole offensive scheme has been bass ackwards from what they usually(and should) do with a great freshman back like Jeremy Hill.
Mettenberger just isn't good enough a QB to do what they've been doing.

Think you have to let that call go and keep the flag in your pocket for that one.

In a New Years Eve miracle, Clemson beats an SEC team in a bowl game.

Instead of running the ball it comes back to bite them in the ass Running the ball got them the most production on offense and they ended up passing it WAY more than running it. They deserved to lose that game. On another note, after the FSU loss, people were asking for Sweeney to be fired. I told them that firing him would set Clemson back another decade or so. Turns out I was right.

Is Wisconsin not even ranked?
When's the last time a team made the Rose Bowl unranked?

So, LSU finishes maybe at 10-3, but it's the 3 that will linger on.
Florida out-toughing them, and Clemson/Alabama ripping their hearts out.
As unsatisfting a 10-win season maybe ever.

Ohio State and Penn State being banned from a Bowl game really mess everything up

Mississippi State in a close one. Oklahoma State in an easy win. Georgia in an easy win. Michigan in a close one. Stanford wins easy. Florida State in an easy win.

Is Wisconsin not even ranked? When's the last time a team made the Rose Bowl unranked? As far as I can tell, the 1984 Rose Bowl, which saw 6-4-1 UCLA defeat 10-1 Illinois 45-9; Illinois was ranked #4 in the AP and #5 in the Coaches' polls.

NIU or Louisville- which heavy underdog has the better BCS showing? I haven't wavered on thinking NIU is winning that game.

Does Lane Kiffin survive the utter debacle of a season? Really surprised they couldn't manage a much-needed win against GT. That Lane's O full of 4*'s could only manage 7pts is just ridiculous.
Realize LSU was looking to be unpredictable late in the game but throwing clock-managment out the window? No way in hell should Clemson get the ball back with significant time on the clock and all their timeouts.

Ohio State and Penn State being banned from a Bowl game really mess everything up Indeed it did. f*** you Ohio State, f*** you Penn State, f*** you Wisconsin, f*** YOU Nebraska, and f*** you B1G. Your sorry asses allowed NIU to get an automatic spot, and Oklahoma to not get into the BCS.
