[shadow=red,left,300]NITERAW[/shadow] [glow=bronze,2,300]TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP[/glow]JASON FLYNN VERSUS BULL ANT TH: And welcome back to FAWA Niteraw folks! A ruckous crowd here at the Parts Unknown Arena tonight no doubt anxious to see the stars of the FAWA in action.JK: Wrestlers Hoss! We're not going to start like that "other" company.TH: A sound point there King. But onto another topic we are just one week away from Wrestlecrapocalypse! JK: Providing that the Mayans weren't right and we're all dead.TH: And while King is mulling over his life and regrets lets hand it over to Michael Muffer to introduce the wrestlers for this match for the FAWA TV Title.MM: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the FAWA Television Championship! Introducing first...*The Narrow Way Part 2 by David Gilmour* MM: Hailing from Cardiff, Wales and weighing in at 229 Lbs. Jason Flynn!*Jogging onto the entry ramp, Jason pumps his fist and raises his arms before starting to the ring. Hoping onto the apron, Jason then leaps over the top rope before moving to the middle of the ring, eyeing the ramp expectantly.* TH: Jason Flynn looking to perhaps climb another rung here tonight. It could certainly make things interesting going into the Survival Challenge match he will be in one week's time.JK: Yeah, but I think he needs to focus on who he's facing here tonight...MM: And his opponent, being accompanied by his sister Moo Moo Ant. From The Anthill and weighing in at 328 lbs. HE IS THE FAWA TELEVISION CHAMPION...BULL ANT!*Bull Ant and his sister Moo Moo Ant walk out onto the entry ramp and stomp both feet before letting out a roar at the ring then charge. Bull hops onto the apron and gets into the ring as Moo Moo turns to the crowd and raises her arms up to get them to cheer as her brother holds the TV title up in his hand before handing it to referee Will Alphonzo.* TH: And here is the FAWA TV Champion with his sister. Both will be competing at Wrestlecrapocalypse. Moo Moo of course successfully gaining a shot at the FAWA Freakin' Awesome title.JK: Which is currently held by none other then Vincent Van Agony. Did you hear what he said just a short time ago. He told her to prepare for war!*Moo Moo moves to the corner nearest her brother to lend her support as the ref shows Flynn the TV title before handing it to the timekeeper. Both men are checked over and the bell is rung.* *DING! DING! DING!* TH: And here we go! We're under way with this FAWA TV title match!*Bull charges in, looking to grab Jason in a lockup but her ducks out of the way. Bull turns to be met with a stiff kick to the body.* TH: Wow! What an impact there!*Bull looks down at his chest, moving a hand to lightly rub the spot where Jason made contact.* JK: Don't look now but I think he just made the bull angry. *Bull Ant moves towards Jason who readies another kick. This time though Bull raises and arm and catches the leg. Hopping, Jason looks to ready an enzuiguri but Bull launches himself forward, rushing Flynn into the corner.* TH: Bull Ant using that size advantage to try and muscle his opponent into the corner.*Bull gives a shoulder block into Jason's midsection, then another before moving back. As Jason holds his stomach and takes a step out he is picked up in preparation for a power slam.* TH: Uh oh...JK: This doesn't look good...*Instead of a straight power slam however, Bull slams Flynn onto his knee.* JK: Oh man! That hadda hurt.TH: Another move I've heard of from the Ant Colony. The Barn Breaker. A devastating move wherever it is performed!*As Jason's back arches in pain, Bull moves to pin him quickly. 1! 2! Kickout! Bull is a bit stunned as Moo Moo holds her hands to her head in surprise but continues to cheer on her brother.* JK: Wow!TH: Jason Flynn showing that spirit and determination he's quickly becoming known for here.*Moving to start getting Jason to his feet Bull is surprised as Flynn sends a forearm to his leg. Another shot, then another follow which causes Bull to bend down to try and stop his opponent but as he does, Jason lifts up, hitting a knee to Bull's head which straightens Bull up and staggers him. Getting to his feet as best as he can, Jason quickly moves and jumps up, latching onto Bull Ant's head and brings him back down to hit a facebuster onto Jason's knee which sends Bull Ant to the mat.* JK: Holy! Where did that come from?!*Jason quickly moves for the cover. 1! 2! Kickout!* TH: A near fall there from Flynn and it would appear that the tables have turned once more in the challengers favour!*Seizing the chance, Jason quickly moves to the nearest turnbuckle and gets to the second rope. He waits as Moo Moo looks on almost afraid to look as Flynn jumps off.* JK: I can't watch!*As Flynn looks to get a leg out for a MMA style kick he is caught in mid-air. Bull Ant struggles to hold him up at first but then grabs his legs and gives a Gallon Throw seemingly out of nowhere!* JK: Holy $&!^!TH: Slaughterhouse! Bull Ant with the Slaughterhouse!*Moving to his downed foe, Bull Ant goes for the cover, hooking a leg. 1! 2! 3! Jason is just a second too late as the ref's hand hits the mat for the three.* *DING! DING! DING!* MM: Ladies and Gentlemen, here is your winner and STILL FAWA TELEVISION CHAMPION! BULL ANT!TH: Amazing! The sheer power it must have taken! Jason Flynn may have been well on his way to winning the TV title.JK: He was certainly showing a flurry there. I think the next time these two meet we might see something a bit different as far as a result. But like I said, don't go high risk!TH: We'll be back after this folks!

[shadow=red,left,300]NITERAW[/shadow][glow=RED,2,300]PICK YOUR POISON[/glow]AARON ENIGMA VERSUS MYSTERY OPPONENT TH: Welcome back to Niteraw folks! We’ve got a doozy for you now. It’s Aaron Enigma against an opponent of Antihero’s choosing in a Pick Your Poison match!JK: Aaron Enigma already has to defend his title against Gus Richlen tonight. Why does he have to wrestle two matches especially when one is a title defense?TH: Aaron Enigma said he would fight anywhere at any time. I guess management is really holding him to that.JK: Why does he keep getting screwed by management then? He hasn’t done anything bad that I have noticed..TH: That is a question for management, for now let’s start this match!.MM: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!!!*Sleep Now in the Fire by Rage Against the Machine* MM: Introducing first, from Concord, NH and weighing in at 230 lbs. He is the FAWA Inter-Forum Champion…The Head Detective...AARON ENIGMA!*Music starts and after a loud "YEEEAAAAHHHHHH!!!" The entrance erupts with fire, creating a ring that Aaron stands in. He looks around with a deathly serious glare at his opponent before moving towards the ring. He walks calmly but with an intense look on his face. He jumps into the ring and throws his magnifying glass and hat to the crowd before pointing at his opponents and taunting him to attack. .* TH: Aaron Enigma is certainly focused on this match. He has a more important one later on.JK: You think so, Tim? I don’t think Aaron would ever overlook a match. To him every match is important.TH: Well let’s see who Antihero picked for Aaron’s opponent.*Enemy by Sevendust MM: And his opponent, from War Six of the Northwoods State Mental Hospital. Weighing in at 229 lbs…MARSHALL WESLEY COVENTRY!!!*The lights dim as "Enemy" kicks in. MWC then walks to the ring, wearing a black straitjacket backwards. He tosses it off to the floor and enters the ring. .* TH: Wow, Antihero certainly had a good idea. MWC is Gus Richlen’s brother. Enigma will have to fight both of them in the same night!JK: That is very smart by Antihero because it is going to hurt Aaron’s ability to defend his title. Marshall is no pushover for sure.*Aaron shakes his head in disbelief. Both men are checked over and the bell is rung.* TH: And here we go! Can Aaron end this quickly without sustaining too much damage?*Both men lock up in the center. MWC pushes Aaron into the corner. The ref breaks them up but Aaron kicks MWC in the gut!* TH: Aaron gets the first move in!*MWC just looks at Aaron with rage growing in his eyes.* JK: Aaron better get outta dodge quick! MWC looks pretty mad. *MWC grabs Aaron and throws him into the corner. He shoulders Aaron in the gut multiple times until the ref manages to get him out of the corner.* TH: MWC with some big hits on Aaron. Enigma can’t take too much punishment or it will be over for him later on tonight.*MWC goes back towards Aaron. Aaron jumps away from the grasp and dropkicks the knee of MWC, dropping him to the floor.* TH: Aaron looks to be attacking the leg of MWC.JK: A good strategy because it will take the power game away from him.*Aaron grabs the leg of MWC and lifts it before slamming it on the ground.* JK: Look at MWC grab his left knee. He is clearly hurting.TH: Aaron has a great strategy honestly.*Aaron goes for a pin, hooking the injured leg. 1, 2, Kickout!!! * JK: It will take more than that to put down, MWC!TH: Aaron will have to figure something out quickly.*Aaron lifts up MWC and signals for the Brilliant Deduction. He scoops him up but MWC counters. He lifts up Aaron and slams him down with a huge spinebuster!* JK: A great counter from MWC! Is this a huge upset?*MWC quickly moves for the cover. Aaron gets his foot on the bottom rope!* TH: I am questioning whether or not Aaron should have given up and lost this match to save himself from receiving further damage.JK: Aaron would never give up on any match. He sees every single one through to the end!*MWC lifts up Aaron. He attempts to set up for the Psychologica. Aaron manages to knee MWC in the gut to escape!* JK: Aaron stopped MWC cold!*Aaron backs up to the ropes. He bounces off and jumps, hitting a flying knee strike to MWC who goes down hard to the mat!* JK: He nearly took Marshall’s head off!!!TH: He blasted him, but he needs to end this match now, King!*Aaron quickly takes advantage and lifts up MWC! He drops him with a beautifully executed Brilliant Deduction!* JK: Aaron hits the Brilliant Deduction out of nowhere!TH: That’s exactly what Aaron needed to do at this moment!*Aaron moves to pin MWC. The ref counts, 1…2…3!* *DING! DING! DING!* MM: Ladies and Gentlemen, here is your winner…AARON ENIGMA!TH: Enigma with a huge win! He really needed to win this quickly and that’s exactly what he did!JK: MWC nailed a big spinebuster, but Aaron managed to take advantage from nowhere and drop him with a Brilliant Deduction!TH: We'll be back after this word from our sponsors!

Who do you think Aaron has selected for him to fight, King?JK: There are so many good choices, Tim. I had a sneaking suspicion but I’ll keep it to myself since we are about to find out.TH: Antihero needs to win to gain some momentum heading into Wrestlecrapocalypse. He had the worst time in the Beat the Clock Challenge. JK: Well Antihero is still formidable. He hasn’t been seeing eye to eye with Boiler Room Brawler recently.TH: He can’t worry about that too much right now. He needs to focus on this match!MM: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first...*Playing the Saint by Digital Summer* MM: Hailing from Society’s Worst Nightmares, ANTIHERO!!!*Antihero walks down the ramp, interacting with the fans depending on his mood, then stands on the top turnbuckle showing the fans his wrist tape which says on the left hand "Never Forgive" and "Never Forget" on the right. .* TH: Antihero looks ready tonight.JK: Aaron Enigma hopefully picked a good opponent for him.*Ready to Roll by Jet Black Stare MM: And his opponent, hailing from Peshtigo, Wisconsin! Weighing in at 181 lbs, The Predator Knight…GUS RICHLEN!!!*"Ready To Roll" kicks in as the lights start distorting into various shades of green, and as the drums kick in, two blasts of dark green pyro go off. Then Richlen walks out alone and looks to the crowd. As the refrain kicks in, Richlen either throws up a single fist or a title belt if he has one and more pyro goes off Edge-style behind him. He then finishes walking to the ring, sliding in, where he jumps on the second turnbuckles in turn and keeps jumping.* TH: Oh my god! What a brilliant move from Aaron!JK: Forcing his opponent for the Inter-Forum title into a match just like he was!*Gus and Antihero shakes hands in the middle of the ring as a sign of respect. Both men are checked over and the bell is rung.* TH: Time for this explosive match to begin!*The two men lock up in the center but Gus quickly transitions to a headlock. Antihero pushes Gus into the ropes and Gus drops him with a shoulder block.* TH: Seems like both men are feeling each other out!*Gus moves to bounce off the ropes. Antihero ducks under him and stands up quickly. He nails a drop toe hold on Gus after he rebounds off the opposite ropes.* JK: Good move by Antihero. Both men still seem to be trying to find an opening on their opponent.*Antihero runs to the ropes and hits a dropkick to the side of Gus’s head!* TH: Antihero is looking for a quick win. I am sure Aaron is watching this and hoping that Gus takes a beating though!*Antihero goes for a quick pin. 1…2. Kickout!!!* TH: Gus didn’t want to go down quickly.JK: The Predator Knight can’t be so weak heading into an Inter-Forum title match.*Antihero picks up Gus and throws him into the corner. He backs up and charges at Gus, but Gus kicks Antihero in the face!* JK: Antihero charged right into that boot from Gus.TH: Gus needs to take advantage quickly though! He needs to end this match as fast as he can*Gus grabs Antihero and lifts him up. He hits one German suplex…Two suplexes…THREE suplexes.* JK: Triple German suplex from Gus!TH: That seems like it is going to take a lot out of anybody.*Gus goes to pin, Antihero. 1…2...Kickout! Antihero gets his shoulder up!* JK: A nice kickout from Antihero. The match continues!*Gus lifts up Antihero and throws him into the ropes. Gus barely gets the shoulder up!* JK: Richlen still kicked out!TH: What will it take to put Gus down for the three count?*Antihero lifts up Gus. He runs towards the ropes and bounces off. Gus grabs him though and hits a big reverse STO!* JK: A HUGE counter!TH: Is it over now?*Gus goes for the pin! 1…2…Kickout! Antihero manages to barely get the shoulder up!* TH: Gus almost had him!JK: It was very clo…wait who is that on the entrance ramp!*Aaron Enigma walks out on the ramp! He looks at Gus and holds up his Inter-Forum title. Gus stares at him as Enigma starts mocking him.* TH: What is Enigma doing back out here?JK: Looks like he is out to observe the match!*Gus yells at Enigma before turning back to Antihero. Antihero kicks him in the gut though and quickly grabs him. He flips him over with the AntiClimax!* TH: Enigma distracted Gus! Antihero was able to hit the AntiClimax piledriver!JK: Guess Enigma had a second motive for coming out here other than observing!*Aaron smiles as Antihero pins Gus. 1…2…3!* *DING! DING! DING!* MM: Ladies and Gentlemen, here is your winner…ANTIHERO!!!TH: Aaron Enigma causes Gus to lose and take a vicious piledriver!JK: That was a good strategy from Enigma! Something I'd like to draw attention to: notice how relatively brief all three matches were so far compared to our old standard. They're tight and effective for what they're supposed to be. This is the new Niteraw standard I aim for and I hope that with time, this will make match writing look a little less intimidating.
PPV matches can be as long as ever of course.

Yup. I should be able to post everything remaining tomorrow (no PC access today).
All in all, this week worked out nicely. That said, I made this Niteraw the go-home show since Xmas and New Year's are in two weeks. Instead of a bunch of delays, let's use the next week to write the matches and then I post them the following week.
So while there is still time, write any last promos for Niteraw if you want. Make it count.

To be honest, while it is less intimidating to write smaller matches and is far easier. I did find it a bit better how longer matches had intensity and suspense. But that's just it really, writing smaller matches is far less time consuming.

But that's just it really, writing smaller matches is far less time consuming. Exactly. That said, I do encourage writers to write supercard show matches to their heart's desire. In fact, they'll probably stand out more when the Niteraw standard is so much briefer and more concise.
