Seconding Looney Tunes Show- it actually made Bugs sympathetic. He's still clever and he still has his drag routines, but his straight man role gives him more depth, and he actually makes mistakes.
Also, Friendship Is Magic and Thundercats 2011.

Thirding The Looney Tunes show. It's quickly become my favorite show on Cartoon Network, there's really not a character that I don't think they did a great job with - especially taking away Bugs' immunity as Radio Clash alluded to. I also much prefer the LTS version of Lola to the Space Jam version - it's just overall a great show.

Would Adult Swim shows like: Harvey Birdman, Sealab 2021, and Space Ghost Coast To Coast plus it's spin off The Brak Show count?
If so, those.

The Masters of the Universe from around 2002 was a great re-imagining.
Thundercats from last year was also pretty good to start with, but went downhill.

The Thundercats remake was actually good, making it significantly better than the original. I know this is blasphemy, but I always hated Thundercats. Same applies to the He-Man remake.
Have to agree on The Looney Toons Show. It's pretty great.

He-Man (2002), TMNT (2003), Transformers Animated, and Spectacular Spider-Man were all fantastic. And can we count the DC Animated Universe, like Batman: TAS and Justice League Unlimited as remakes? Because those were all phenomenal. Batman: The Brave and the Bold was great, too.

oh while I'm at it in the cartoons made to sell toys department...
the last two Care Bears series are really good, so is the current Strawberry Shortcake. Also, the new Littlest Pet Shop is significantly better than the original.

Add me to the list of folks who thought Spectacular Spiderman and Masters of the Universe were great. Can't stand Ultimate Spiderman though and disagree with that one whole heartedly.
I didn't think the 90's versions of Hulk and Fantastic Four were that bad (especially Fantastic Four) but not sure if those count as remakes or not.

I think I might be the only one that liked the 2006 "World's Greatest Heroes" F4 cartoon.
