If I had to rank the top nfc teams right now
1. 49ers 2. Seahawks 3. Falcons 4. Redskins 5. Packers 6. Giants
Seahawks are catching fire at the right time

Jon Gruden's open disdain for ESPN's Tebow obsession is great

For Peterson or Megatron? Both could conceivably do it. Meant Megatron, but both doing it would be awesome. Well he needs 108 yds next week to get to 2000. Stafford needs 305 yds to get to 5000. I have to say though. As a Lions fan, Megatron setting this record doesn't make this season suck any less. I'll take more wins, over records that will be forgotten about by next season any day.

Dream Super Bowl Scenario?
RG3 leads the Redskins over Denver on a last possession TD drive, and then taking the torch from Manning as the next generation is here.

Lions may have had a s***ty year, but Megatron's had an incredible season. A nail in the coffin for the Madden Curse. Not really. A team's poor record has been counted as the Curse striking in the past even if the cover star themself didn't have a bad year/injury. So Jerry Rice record be damned, Madden Curse still struck this year.

So Jerry Rice record be damned, Madden Curse still struck this year. The curse injured the Lions entire secondary reducing it to UFL caliber DB's for most of the season. The only curse here was not drafting a DB in the first round, and not addressing the secondary in free agency.

Finally a chance to shed the BUNGLES label today. Everything is totally in Cincy's hands. Win in Pittsburgh and you're not only in, but you knock the Steelers out. Lose, and you have to beat Baltimore and beg for a load of help in Week 17. They've already blown a handful of chances to open up a 2-3 game lead in the Wildcard this season. I hope they don't add this one to it.

No one believes in the Falcons because of we've all seen the past history of them rolling through the regular season only to lose in the first round. Combine that with their barely beating a lot of bad/mediocre teams this season and there is no reason to believe in them. The onus is on the Falcons to prove everyone wrong. I fully expect whoever they get in the divisional round to go to the Georgia Dome and handle them.

I expect Pitt to win today, but fingers are crossed.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Giants director of college scouting Marc Ross has emerged as "a leading candidate" to replace Marty Hurney as Panthers GM.
