In terms of dialogue delivery, I would maybe put AJ among the worst actresses I've heard. If I saw her performance on TV at an audition for one of our student films I would have been a vote against using her if there were other options. She is that bad. I find just muting her makes it a lot more tolerable. The daughter from Troll 2 is downright competent in comparison. This is my entire problem with her, I don't think she's a bad person at all but hearing her speak is like listening to a third grader play an out of tune trumpet for the first time - forever. It's funny because in small doses I thought she was good, owing a lot to her brief background at NYU Tisch...but now hearing/seeing more of her I realized she's...just not. WWE probably thinks she's good and can talk, because they keep giving her the mic a lot. This doesn't mean much because they went on record as saying they also thought Michelle McCool could talk (WTF???) and that's why they gave her a lot of promo and mic time. The only person they were right about knowing how to talk was Trish Stratus, and wrestling wise the barometer for acting is never as high as conventional hollywood, as you can see by Trish's terrible performance in film after she left. Trish was a baaaaaad talker. She was never as good as Molly was, at the very least.

I think for wrestling AJ is very good. Some of her segments during the Bryan/Punk love triangle angle were among the best acting I've seen in WWE. The only issue I had with her was when she would take overly long breaks during promos, and I think that's because she was told to. Vickie as well I don't think is that bad. She is quite wooden at times, but she has some great little moments of characterisation.
Then again I never thought Stephanie was a bad actress, and many thought she was awful. In fact I was watching an old segment with her and HHH last night and I was really impressed with her performance.
For my money Ryder is definitely the worst. Awful, wooden delivery every time.
Eve was also quite bad during their storyline, and her segments with Johnny Ace were some of the worst segments I've ever seen. But she also has her moments of being quite decent.
I actually think Cena is quite a bad actor. Again he has his moments of being quite good (and sometimes very good) but overall he's quite poor.
Their storyline did no-one any favours clearly...
David Otunga is often terrible.

AJ is nowhere near the worst of all time. She's head and shoulders above others past and present but as they say...haters gonna hate.

I'll give Ryder a pass because while he's bad at acting, and other aspects of wrestling, his character in its current form is SUPPOSED to suck.

Since I started watching wrestling again a little over a year ago, I've kinda liked Vickie. But from the start of the Aj/Cena scandal to now, she's just been cringeworthy. Everything she says feels odd and stilted.

I'm no hater.... AJ is a bad. She's only the worst because she is called on to do it so much. Wagging your head back and forth to convey emotion isn acting. Her wedding performance was soooooo bad

Cena
I just don't find him sympathetic at all as a face. Way too smug and childish.
He was excellent as a cocky heel though

Eve, and I think to a lesser extent AJ, have the same problem to me, like they do this really obvious "I AM ACTING THIS IS AN ACT WHICH MEANS THAT IT IS FAKE" type of acting. Like little girls in a 2nd grade play going "Look at me mommy and daddy I'm acting now!" And it just gives off that really fake vibe...but somehow we have morons falling for it and believing them to be sincere. I mean Zack Ryder is one thing, he's a doof, but people like Cena, Dolph, Punk, Bryan, Kane, Booker T ALL FALL FOR EVE AND AJ'S CRAP. And instead of looking cunning or crazy, it just makes those guys like like morons for getting duped by incredibly obvious fake facades.

Oh, AJ's fine. It's just that her character is so poorly drawn, and the things she does are so unconvincing, it's impossible for her to do them in a convincing way. She actually is really GOOD, given her circumstances. Same with Vickie.
Kingston might be the worst. If we're counting in-ring psychology stuff as acting (and we should) then maybe Dibiase. I never believe a thing he's doing in there.

I remember seeing a trailer for a Demolition Ax shoot. I don't know the context too well since it was just a teaser, but he was talking about how if he had to play a cowboy character, he would feel uncomfortable because he didn't know anything about that lifestyle and it would have came across poorly in his interviews. Paraphrasing there.
That appears to be what the WWE in particular is doing. If AJ Lee is not a type 1 personality in real life, and she is not good actor, then how is she possibly going to play a "psycho" character effectively? A character is best when it is either an extension of someone's own personality, or the person is effectively able to act out the important character traits. Foley as Mankind is a good example of the latter. Nowadays the WWE wants to stick male and female models out there and except them to cut a written promo, and everyone in the world can see through it. That's why CM Punk is so good in this era, because he really doesn't have anyone else that can match him on the mic, but also because he is one of the few guys who is able to cut a promo without any restraints. If you told him to ignore his real life persona and start doing a promo like Randy Savage did in the 80's, he would look just as bad as everyone else in this era.

I never believe a thing he's doing in there. I don't know. She's been playing an unstable person for a while. She emplys the Kristen Stewart Hairl playing and puppy eyes. I'm not trying to harp on it, but if she's doing a good job I really want to see what she'd be like if she's doing a bad one.

Am I the only one that doesn't think AJ is that bad? She's nothing special but I don't see anything awful about her acting. I'd say worst actress is Vickie. Yeah she gets a lot of heat, but I get embarrassed watching he fumble through her lines. I honestly think AJ is one of the best "actresses" I've ever seen in WWE. She's completely believable as a psycho. If you want porn-level bad acting, check out some of Velvet Sky's TNA promos... And Sable's promos back in the day were nothing short of cringe-worthy. The way she used to say "For the women who want to be me, and the men who... came to see me!" Is still one of the worst vocal performances I've heard from a Diva.

I actually quite like Vickie in a day time soap opera villain kind of way. However "Creative" have allowed her character to become stale.

I like AJ as an actress. She's very over the top and 'anime' but I think that suits WWE. She has some personality and intonation in her delivery and it makes her compelling to watch in my opinion.
Up until recently I'd have had Dolph down as pretty bad. But he's got better, his promos have more impact and personality now.
Zack Ryder has to be one of the worst. I just feel embarrassed for him any time he's out there these days. He looks so lost and lacking in any kind of charisma.

Zack Ryder. Would go with Rosa on divas. To be fair, Rosa is probably the worst at everything. She's as incompetent as she is useless, and she's completely useless.
