My god what the hell happened to Ryback? I like the guy, but he got so slow in the ring compared to this video it's not even funny. Aside from the injury that kept him out for god-knows-how-long, there's also that once a guy gets high-profile in WWE, he starts to simplify what he does in order to not get injured as often (which usually works, unless you're made of glass like Randy Orton).

The set up for that move was him being irish-whipped into the corner, doing that move where you try to go over the top of your charging opponent, like when they showed R-Truth being caught by him, and then while in the air he went over the top to the apron.

I think his current gimmick is meant to be more 'methodical and paced' if that makes sense. Would be cool if he brought a little more to the table but keep that lariat, its his spear. (Though if I remember correctly, he had a pretty bad ass spear)

Don't think the extra supplementation does him any favors in terms of performance. It obviously helps in terms of getting him over as a monster but definitely doesn't move as well.

I really think the only reason he isn't using his spear, which is bad ass, is to keep the Goldberg comparisons at a minimum.
Too bad too, cause that could be the set up to the Meat Hook, making the Meat Hook his finisher.
But, then again, WWE seems to like to have the big guys have finishers that involve lifting the other guy.

Also, most main eventers seem to have their movesets cut down to a few signature maneuvers that the crowd can easily get behind. Hence Cena's infamous five moves of doom and why Bryan's offense is almost all kicks.

That gourdbuster in the top 10 moves video was pretty sweet.
The fact is though, Ryback isn't supposed to be a epic moves kind of guy. He's a jacked up muscle bound hoss that hits people hard. As much as I appreciate a well-varied offense, I think it would be weird seeing Ryback get all technical. Sure, maybe a belly to belly. Better yet, maybe a belly to back where instead of falling, he just throws the guy forward off of his shoulder.
Something else we haven't seen in a while that I think would work for Ryback is the Electric Chair, either fall back or facebuster version.
Here's a few other ideas for Ryback that I just got.

An angry Taz-style T-Bone would probably work into his style.

I'd be surprised if he knew what a suplex was

I'd be surprised if he knew what a suplex was His finish is pretty much a suplex. But then there is also this... www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEGd_6WnuQwBut, no, he has no idea what a suplex is.
