I just love how ridiculous this whole thing was but yet they played it deadly serious.
-Distraught Ricardo/Del Rio -Police tape -Everyone gathered outside the trainer's room -"FOR SANTAAAAA!!!!" -Serious commentator voices -Matt Striker giving an update from the trainer's room -"Representatives from the North Pole have been contacted"
I imagine there is a few people who hated it. "Boo! Stupid kid storyline!" or it wasn't focusing on the World titles or something, but I just found it to be hilariously done and genuinely enjoyable.

Loved it. The only thing I could've done without was the constant recaps and updates though, but otherwise it was great.
Also, I absolutely lost it at Mick's sell onto the car.

It was fantastic. I haven't laughed so hard at anything in a very long time. Then I'd look at poor Ricardo's face and feel like a horrible, horrible person.

It's professional wrestling in a nutshell. Just so ridiculous, yet so damn fun.

It's the reason I tune in for the Christmas episodes. You just know there's gonna be a ton of silliness and I'm a man who's fond of the silliness.

I thought the recaps of Santa getting run over were meant to be self aware. Showing excessive recaps of something so silly and inane as Santa Claus getting run over felt like WWE were taking the piss out of themselves for showing excessive recaps.

It was actually amazing. Seriously, it was written like a legitimate christmas special. It was treated with such a silly level of legitimacy that it seemed legit AND silly in all the right ways. Gotta say, bravo WWE.

Let's not forget what REALLY sold the whole thing was the crowd was completely into it. From the cheering at the jingle balls, to the 'use the tree' chant

I wasn't a fan of there commentary during the matches, but I loved Cole and King selling it like it was real and serious.

I did laugh every time they showed Santa getting run over. So did I, if for no other reason because of the blatantly bad camera cut. Still tough, this show was hilarious on all sorts of levels.

I really was not a fan of Santa attacking Ricardo. He was distraught early in the show and then came out to hug him when he knew Santa was alright again. The bit outside the trainers room with the roster (including Yoshi Tatsu) was great - Cena's overacting was bizarrely entertaining, and also it was one of those neat moments when faces *and* heels were all on the same side for a change. They did lose some points for not having an D-Bry reaction at the thought of Santa being gravely injured, though.
