Stone Sour - House of Gold and Bones Part 1. Just an amazing album and story cannot wait for part 2.

-El-P's "Oh Hail No" and "The Full Retard" (Come to think of it, Cancer 4 Cure really is the best new record I've heard all year) Have you heard Billy Woods' "History Will Absolve Me?" Since you dug the El-P record, I think it might be up your alley. His flow is one of the hardest-to-acquire tastes I've ever heard, but by the third listen of the album I was hooked.

I've only got a few Theocracy: "As the World Bleeds" Great album (I'd go as far to call them the best power metal band around right now actually). Never thought i'd see them mentioned on this board though. Personally though, my fav album of 2012 was Van Halen's "A Different Kind of Truth". Much better than the overhyped Aerosmith and Kiss albums of 2012.

It's just dawned on me I bought two albums in 2012 - " We're Here With You" by Julien-K, and "Sin & Bones" by Fozzy.
According to my iTunes log I have listened to WHWY entirely more than 400 times since it's January 23rd release.
The first couple of songs on S&B are epic but I've not warmed up too much on the rest of the album.

Silversun Pickups: Neck of the Woods I really couldn't get into that one. I liked Caranvas, and LOVED Swoon, but this one left me a bit cold, if I'm honest. My picks are: Dinosaur Jr - I Bet On Sky Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend! Smashing Pumpkins - Oceania Ringo Deathstarr - Mauve I'm hoping Kevin Shields sticks to his promise of a new My Bloody Valentine album before the end of 2012 (leaving today and tomorrow left), then hopefully I could add that.

Ringo Deathstarr is such an awesome name for a band.
