Like others have said Smark and adult FAN in me wants Punk to retain 10 year old Mark in me wants Rock to win
I am good with it either way to be honest, its the WM card/placement and match for the championship that I am more concerned about

It just dawned on me, I really don't care who wins as long as the audience rocks a Boots to asses/Knees to faces chant. #TeamChant

There have been several proposed scenarios (Rock/Cena, Rock/Punk, Rock/Cena/Punk, Rock/Brock, HHH/Brock, 'Taker/Brock, 'Taker/Punk, etc.) that it could go any way. WrestleMania isn't until months from now, plans can change, and circumstances can change. The truth is that we don't know what we're looking at come April, so why worry about it now? I just want to see if Rock will actually get the title at the Rumble. The future can wait.

To be fair I'd be rooting for Cena over Punk right now because of how bad Punk has been as of late. Nice that he got recognition from upper management that resulted in a hefty title reign...but god has it been boring. Rock was "my guy" growing up and nothing would please me more than to see Punk get his candy ass whupped by the great one.

he doesn't have a ghost of a chance of actually winning but I'm with Punk, largely because I get the feeling he'll be like HBK in his 2004 feud with Hogan where he gets stuck doing all the work to build up the match by himself.

I can count the number of wrestlers I'd cheer for over The Rock on one hand, (and still have fingers left over) and Punk is at the top of the list.

Very slightly swayed towards preferring a Punk win, though seeing The Rock win the WWE title despite being a full time Hollywood star would be a surreal/cool experience.

Except he wont be. Rock will be right there with him building it up and thats good.

Roughly 4 pages of how the Rock supposedly "isn't" one of the best on the mic because he cracks jokes?

Not to steal Kanyon's gimmick, but if Rock's not the BITW on the mic then who better?
I don't seem to recall any homophobic remarks The Rock the character has even made post-Attitude Era, so someone will have to educate me on that. Fruity Pebbles and Kung Pao Bitch I know but I don't see how either of those make fun of gays/lesbians even remotely. I DO however remember a few Cena promos (specifically his raps) where he mentions giving Rock a Dirty Sanchez...not sure why anyone would think Mr. Disney's kid-friendly insults are more 'shocking' than Ghetto Cena's thugabonics.
Rock doesn't have to be shocking to be awesome on the mic, so let's please not keep throwing claims that he "needs" to make gay jokes in order to get the crowd to cheer for him. But again somebody quote me his worst offenses since the PG-era because I must've missed something.
