Haven't played GW2, but overall I like WoW better than SW:TOR. The one thing you should know is that depends entirely on what your sensibilities are. The best parts of TOR imo are the stories of each class. That blew me away, but there isn't much to do at max level.
WoW is sort of the opposite(it's been a long time since I started, I might just be jaded to the story): Leveling up is tedious, but there is so many different things to do at max level, there is something for every kind of gamer.
And for what it's worth, I've heard lots of good things about Guild Wars.

Matter of opinion, but since I've played all three:
WoW has 7+ years of content and is the most successful MMO in history. The downside is it's getting a little long in the tooth, but that just means older computers can keep up without going boom.
SW:TOR I had a lot of hope for, but sadly everyone left and the game went free to play. I like the storylines and PvP is fun, but I never felt there was a whole lot to do once you go past the storyline content. Really I guess that is the problem all mmo's face with varying success depending on the game.
Guild Wars 2 is free to play as well and it's lack of "quest" (you're more dependent on events happening in the area) make it standout than most of the MMO fare. I haven't hit the cap yet (I've been distracted by Skyrim and the tons of games I got this year), but it seems like it could be in part succeeding wow in certain ways. It's a big plus for me that nodes and events are shared.

To echo what's been said, TOR's stories are awesome, and I really enjoyed the process of getting to max level. But then there was NOTHING to do. I have no idea if its changed since I played, but end-game content of TOR was non-existent.

Guild Wars 2. No subscription, innovative game play, and great to play with other players. DCU online is great as well, but the level cap is too short.

Old Republic is fun, and free to play, so give it a shot.
Guild Wars 2 has had a lot of good buzz, but as it is not f2p, I have not played it.
Champions Online is fun, and F2P, but while the character creation is fantastic, the game can get a little dull on F2P,

Old Republic is fun, and free to play, so give it a shot. Guild Wars 2 has had a lot of good buzz, but as it is not f2p, I have not played it. Champions Online is fun, and F2P, but while the character creation is fantastic, the game can get a little dull on F2P, I felt I need to expand on what you're saying. Guild Wars 2 you only play for the price of the game, but there is no subscription fees. If you want to add stuff like extra character slots (you get five with gw2) or vanity items they do have a store that sells that WoW charges charges $15 dollars a month plus the price of the games. Yet Blizzard's content is top notch and while they have a store it sells only vanity items (mounts, pets) for online use. Now other f2p mmos won't charge you for the price of the game, but they severally restrict content unless you pay for it or become a subscriber (usually $15 a month). For example, DCUO if you buy an expansion (which on psn is $5) you go from free subscriber to basic which grants you a couple more character slots and things. If you want to go all out you can get the monthly subscription.
