Anyone else love this movie? Maximilian Schell is a damn fine actor in it and then of course...Spencer Tracy!

Solid flick. Interesting to compare with the 2000 Nuremberg TV movie.

Great, great movie. Burt Lancaster makes the simple act of standing up out of a chair into one of the more powerful moments I've seen in a film.

Colonel Klink (Werner Klemperer) was in this one, as one of the judges.
He was a real life German emigrant after Hitler came to power. His personal rule was that he would never play a Nazi as anything but (a) an obviously guilty bastard, or (b) a f***ing idiot. No shades of grey for him.....

I like that William Shatner plays a Captain in the movie years before he played Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek.

Good flick, but I prefer Spencer Tracy in Inherit the Wind.
