I just mentioned this in another thread, but realised it might be better off here.
THQ's problems won't stop Yuke's from making WWE '14 will it? Or do THQ actually own Yuke's rather than just publish for them. I would have thought if THQ goes out of business Activision or Take-Two or whoever will just publish the WWE games for Yuke's. So really THQ's problems aren't likely to impact the current line of WWE games at all.

THQ and WWE were the dudes shaking hands.

THQ and WWE were the dudes shaking hands. Yeah, I get that. And of course, like you say, Yuke's won't actually have a say in the matter. But like I said in the other thread it seems to make most sense that THQ will just be replaced by one of any number of other publishing companies. Rather than a new developer taking over. WWE will surely just hand off the license to someone new and things will continue as before. It would be easier and smarter for someone to just assume THQ's role rather than to entirely rebuild the game series.

WWE loves their yearly releases and there's no way on Earth any new developer/publisher is going to get a new title out in a year. If THQ dies, I imagine the new publisher will pick Yukes up because they can.
Edit: By pick up, I mean sign them as a developer not buy Yukes.

just saying WWE '14 and Saints Row 4 are continuing in their production. But I think those are the only THQ games still being worked on. The South Park game as well. Company of Heroes 2 also.

Im surprised people want to see EA get the franchise considering how determined they are to raise the price of games and do all they can to block the pre-owned games market Also, EA owns the rights to Yuke's other big business creation, UFC Unleashed.
