When I began watching WWE five years ago, I would have never seen the Miz being the breakout star of the Miz and Morrison tag team; I wouldn't have thought that the WWE would go PG; and I would have never have imagined the Rock wrestling CM Punk.
With that being said, who will be dominating the main event scene in five years' time? Which wrestlers will fizzle out? How do you think the WWE environment will change?

The commentary team will be the Miz and Punk. Cena will be champ again. Del Rio will be super super aggressive

In all seriousness, I think Cena will be slowing down in five years' time. I think someone else will take the position of Cash Cow. I wonder who, though. Ryback seems like a Batista/Sheamus face- the top guy on the B Show. I can't see CM Punk working as top babyface; he was meh earlier this year as a face IMO.

I think it will largely be in a state of re-building. I fully expect some major power changes to happen not long down the line and a rather large nosed individual will decide it's time shake stuff up. At the very least I can see the in-ring product being the best it's ever been with a lot of the fresher talent we have currently still being around and some of the phenomenal talent down in NXT debuting and hitting their stride.

Punk and Cena will be somewhere between retirement and part-time, being used much like Rock and Triple H have been used recently to keep the company from going over the cliff.
Oh, and there'll be new guys and stuff.

Despite being reported that he would be considering retirement, Kane will still be wrestling in the same role he has been over the last 15 years.

It depends if Vince dies/becomes senile, but if Vince dies, I expect more of a transition towards Raw with more wrestling, more coherent storylines, and less terrible attempts to pander towards the mainstream. If Vince doesn't die, expect the status quo.

If business doesn't pick up and they keep running their international locales into the ground, trying to make up for it, they'll be back to their own Impact Zone... Hammerstein. Or maybe Full Sail, either way. I would guess most of their top guys would be gone by then.... other than Orton, since he's the youngest. But 5 years is a long time to duck a 3rd strike. When you think about it, that's kind of funny. Orton was the youngest top guy for a long time, and he's *still* one of the youngest now.

Bray Wyatt and Cody Rhodes will be big time stars. That's about the only prediction I can make.
