Ouch. That is way down from last week. But that's expected since it was Christmas Eve.
For a reference, here's last week's hours ratings:
4.29 million
4.41 million
3.99 million
And last week got a 2.9 rating.

Yeah, really not surprised. It's hard to catch raw on Christmas Eve unless you get your family dinner done super early.

Eh, it's not bad for a Christmas Eve episode. Not great either, but it's to be expected. Should be about the same next week, too.

At least it seems the people who watched the show enjoyed it as a larger percentage than usual made it to the end.

Eh, Christmas Eve and all. No real cause for concern, and the number of viewers actually went up, which can only be a good thing considering recent trends.

Will probably be similar for the next couple of weeks with (a) New Year's Eve, and (b) the Notre Dame/Bama game.

*Shrugs shoulders*
It's what was expected. Although, I have a feeling that the NYE edition of Raw will dip into the 1.8~1.9 rating.

I do my family christmas stuff on christmas day so I was probably in the small bracket of people who had nothin better to do so they watched Raw.
Low ratings on Christmas and New Years never surprises me though

Point of reference:
Monday, Dec. 31: New Year's Eve Monday, Jan. 7: BCS National Championship Game
They may not see ratings that creep above 2.5 until the Jan. 14 edition of Raw, and even then they'll only have two weeks until the Royal Rumble.

Did you know? The lowest rated raw was the 12/23/96 edition which got a measly 1.5 Most raws even pre-nitro still did better than 2.2, even tho the lowest during that period was a 1.8 on 09/13/93
And there was 2 previous raws on christmas eve 2001 got a 3.2, 2007 got a 2.5
So somehow 2007 wwe > 2012 wwe come christmas time!

LordsofPain mentioned this earlier. They tracked the last show this low to a Raw in September 1997, which featured HHH vs. Savio Vega vs. the Patriot as its main event.
