I do lots of the time. Most of the times I don't feel like filling more stuff into the garbage can. It doesn't taste bad and I think it maybe good for you. It gives you bad powerful gas though

I nibble a few bites of the peel before actually eating the orange. I think there are more nutrients in the peel than inside, but I couldn't eat the entire peel - just too much.
If you're worried about filling up the bin - start composting.

Satsuma and Clementine peel all the time, just make sure it's washed to get the wax they spray on off. Bear in mind grated orange peel is used in cooking.

I'll zest orange peels for dishes, but I grate it very fine. That's as close as I come to eating a peel. I've never actually heard of someone full blown eating the peel.

I use them for cooking quite often.
I have a chicken dish where I run the peels in a blender, add water and boil with a dash of five-spice. I then let it cool, add a little Soy and I marinate my chicken in it.
Or toss an orange peel into a cup of apple cider with a dash of cinnamon and a clove or 2 and pop it in the microwave for a quick and easy cup of yummyness.
