It tends to vary really. Sometimes the Mafia is filled with characters you'd expect to be apart of it, and sometimes it's very misleading in that there are one or two curveballs thrown in. It just depends on the person who designed the game.
But going after someone solely for a character they are hinting at is usually a bad idea, especially since people can fake roles if they desire. And unless they pick a character that's already taken then there's not much that can be done to dispute them.

I don't want to make a rash judgment on someone just because they've hinted at being....Moltar for example.

I honestly haven't watched this show in over 10 years maybe 15 its been a long time.
I only remembered like 3 or 4 characters on the show and I got lucky to get one of my favorite characters from the show.
So I'm not basing anything on characters besides the ones on the write up and my character I don't remember any of the other characters that well I'm guessing the other characters might be guests on the show I know Hulk Hogan was a guest once he could be in the game who knows lol.

I'd like to make a request, because it happens in every game. Can we please not call out the first person who casts a vote and call him suspicious? Somebody has to cast first, people. Voting isn't a Mafia specific tactic. The Dragon Ball Z game has been flat out hard to watch from the outside, so let's not fall into those same stalling patterns.

What about in actives? That was another one that become an issue during the DBZ game. It also become quite the stall tactic as well.

Personally, I don't worry about inactives unless they're only posting once or twice a day to keep from being modkilled or replaced. The pure inactives that don't post at all can be a help, since they get replaced by an eliminated player, who more than likely will be someone the Mafia eliminated early because they're experienced or because theu're afraid of them.

YOU ARE SAYING THAT BECAUSE YOU ARE GOING TO VOTE FIRST AND YOU RE MAFIA I once again solved the case! He is the single and only murderer!Case closed!

Sorry, just got home from being out in town for most of the day. ConfirmedNow then, I'm terribly terribly saddened by the loss of our beloved janitor, whose picture I can't even see. It fills me with a... Hunger, a hunger for justice! As far as early suspicions go, I'm going with my gut feeling on this. Vote: Kami/BradHe voted first for crying out loud! That's suspicious in my book! {Spoiler} Unvote Of Course.

I see. It probably doesn't make sense to go after someone who might be getting modkilled for inactivity anyway.

what did notorious say about being suspicious of people who vote first huh? Sorry, I wasn't paying attention. I... I was busy trying to feed my insatiable hunger. As far as an everyday lynch goes, if we have a strong enough lead, I'd say to go for it, but lynching just to lynch never gets anyone anywhere.

I would like to know how everyone stands on that matter I think, at the very least, we should do what we can to come to a consensus as a town to avoid going in circles. If it comes to a lynch as a result, then that's the way it happens. My number 1 priority right now is not to run in circles and actually settle down and lynch the right people to ensure a town win. Also, we have to make sure we get people for illegitimate reasons, and not just because they hinted or joked at being a specific role or character. We have to do our to get the right person because they are actually acting scummy in the game. Right now, it's day one. So there's not too much to go on for anyone right now. So, like I said earlier, I'm playing the waiting game at this point so I can actually come to the right conclusions.

I'm all in favor of a lynch every day no matter if we lynch a mafia or a townie it can help in the upcoming days.
I was disappointed no lynch happened the last two day phases in DBZ: Abridged I'm really hoping for a lynch this day phase in that game.
But enough about the other mafia game.
We need to lynch each day or we will have no where to go during the next day phase just look at DBZ: Abridged Mafia no lynch the first day then day 2 was pretty much the same thing and now we are on Day 3 with no lynches and a few important town roles gone.
So yeah if we don't lynch we don't win.
