I remember a while back during the ESPN documentary on Scott Hall that Stephanie (not Vince) acted as WWE representative when the company was interviewed. She handed the fairly tough questions well, and I thought it was a smart move due to Vince's history of being confrontational with reporters (Bob Costas, Real Sports, etc) or Vince really not willing to drop his wrestling persona.
Do you think going forward (especially since eventually it will be her company) that she act as the media figurehead for WWE instead of Vince?

Vince didn't compare his federal trial to 9/11, so he wins by default.

Should have been the man who is currently running a Chinese Video-on-Demand service.

I have to give it to Vince.
When I see Steph talk, she sounds very corporate. Which is fine for any other company...
But the WWE is a McMahon baby. Everyone knows that. Vince has passion, at least, when he talks about/defends the business outside a wrestling show. He's not perfect, and brings lots of crap sometimes when it's not necessarily warranted, but he sounds a lot more concerned with the business than any "talking dead corporate" type would. Sadly, Steph falls into the category.

Should have been the man who is currently running a Chinese Video-on-Demand service. I think of all the McMahon's, Shane comes off the best. He's intelligent, speaks well but is also relatable (moreso than the others). Linda is infamously robotic. Stephane is very corporate. Vince can come across as confrontational. Overall I think Stephanie will be an okay figurehead for the company. Being a female in the world she's in...the media eat stuff like that up.

It's also the reason he has been so successful in his short time away from the WWE. I think Steph is better right now than Vince because Vince has no problem airing dirty laundry if he feels slighted. Steph carries herself in a professional manner. But again, I think there's a huge portion of WWE employees who wish that Shane was still with the company

Steph.
Vince is still too carny, and his insistence that it's "entertainment" rather than "wrestling" just sounds inane in the real world. Outside the WWE bubble, it comes across as bewildering.

Steph winning this poll would be worse than 9/11.

honest truth? Steph. yeah she's terrible as head of creative, and she did have that one disastrous post-9/11 promo, but she always comes off as all business when she's not in character on TV. Vince on the other hand is incapable of turning "Mr. McMahon" mode off and at times has done interviews where he comes off as a cartoonish psychopath who nobody would ever want to work with.

Vince didn't compare his federal trial to 9/11, so he wins by default. In fairness, Stephanie has never been under federal trial, so wouldn't she win by default?

Yeah, Triple H should be the man for this.
McMahons have no clue about the mainstream.

Vince is insane and completely inappropriate--however! Being insane and completely inappropriate is wrestling's main appeal, and thus I think he represents it better.
...But as far as making it look good to the mainstream? Yeah, Triple H.
