Still have all of my systems except for my Game Boy (have no idea where that ended up), my first PS2 (friend managed to break it within a month of me buying it) and my Atari (blew sparks in 89).

Had really good luck with consoles until the last generation.
I've gone through 2 PS2's, the first one the disc tray literally popped out after it fell. Second one the AC adapter input on the console just fried out and was having trouble for years before that. Friend helped me get the first PS2's disc tray back into the unit and it actually works again.
First Xbox 360 was a Xenon unit. It red ringed and it was having a ton of disc recognizing issues before that. Can't really complain too much because I won it in a raffle so it was free and lasted a fairly long time; longer than a lot of the other early 360's. Second one's a Jasper unit and it's worked like a charm since I bought it.
PSP-2000 screen's all messed up. Haven't gotten around to replacing it though now I can. Will get either another 2000 or settle for a 3000. Either way it has to play UMD's since I'm itching to play a few UMD games I haven't gotten much of a chance to play due to crappy screen.

My Sega Genesis worked from 1993 to about 2001. Cause of death: my cat sprayed it.

NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, PS, PS2, Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast, X-Box, X-Box 360, all still running perfectly aside from the PS2 no longer being able to play PS1 games or DVDs.
My big, gray Gameboy, GB Color, GB Advance, and DS, and Sega Game Gear all work fine. My Gameboy Pocket works, but wipes any saved data on any game I try to play on it and refuses to properly save any games' progress.

Let's see: Gameboy 1- still works screen cover has fallen off. SNES-Still going strong Gameboy 2- Still going strong N64 - Still going strong Dreamcast - If I prop it up via books and fiddle with it a bit I can get it working, but it's struggling since 2002 Ganecube 1 - inexplicably stopped working year after getting it. Gamecube 2 - Still going strong Gameboy Advance - Still going strong Two nintendo ds - Still going strong Xbox 360 - had a RRoD about 2 years ago, got it fixed no problems since.

Pretty much every console I've ever owned still works, including an Atari 2600 from before I was born.
Save for my SNES which got ruined in a flood and my original Game Boy where the screen contrast doesn't work. The NES is starting to show its age though.

I've never had a console die on me.
My NES, bought in 1987, stopped working reliably a couple of years ago after it fell off of a shelf when someone tripped over my controller cord, but I think it just needs the pin connector adjusted.

Super Nintendo - Works fine
Nintendo 64 - Works fine
Playstation - Think it still works fine, don't know where it is though
Playstation 2 - On my third one. First one broke after a few years. Same for the second one. Got the slim model now.
XBox - A bit shaky, but most games I had are compatible for the 360, so I don't really care.
Gamecube - Works fine
Wii - Works fine
XBox 360 - RRoD'ed a few years ago, fine since then
Game Boy - I think most of our original ones are busted.
Game Boy Advance - Have both the original model and the SP, both work fine
DS - Still works, but I think the L and R buttons are busted.
Aunt's Atari - Still works fine.
Aunt's Nintendo - Original one stopped working ages ago. Top loader got fried a few years back in an electrical storm. Now she has a third party model (that also plays Famicom games) that works fine.

PS1: Still works, even after all these years.
PS2: Original fat one lasted until 2006, when it stopped reading certain coloured disks. Slim one I got then still works
OG Xbox: Still works, had since 2003
360: Original worked until 2008 when it got RROD from Fallout 3. Still using the replacement, although the Disc Tray's at an angle when it opens, sticks shut if closed empty & requires a knife to pry it open, and it can sometimes sound like a small plane taking off.
PS3: Only had it since 2010, never had any problems.
Nintendo DS: Screen fell off, didn't bother with a replacement.
PSP: Thick one died in 2009, still use the 3000 one I got as a replacement to this day, although it has trouble reading certain slightly damaged UMD's at times.

Sega Genesis - Model 2 in 1994 worked until 2005, the ac port on the back started acting loose. I got a used model 1 genesis which still works today (which I like better, a/v and headphone jack!) Nintendo 64 - Since 1998 still working like a charm Playstation 2 - Since 2001, takes several minutes to read ps2 discs, I don't think it plays dvds. I actually bought a used slim ps2 from goodwill for 6 bucks (came with al the cords and like 3 controllers) in november 2012, so the 01 ps2 is now in the basement and the newer slim ps2 is in my room. Game Boy Advance SP - Since May 2003, still play it to this day! The R button sometimes acts iffy but usually its good. Xbox360 - Bought in 2006, RROD'd in 2008, replacement still works to this day from then. Gamecube - I forget what year I got a used one ill say 07 or 08, still works
