No 49ers @ Patriots for most watchable? Disrespectful list. This. And Im a Pats fan 21 point difference going into the 4th and both being locked into the post season hurt it.

The Seahawks have filed a complaint with the NFL over the field in yesterday's game. Team feels turf caused Chris Clemons' torn ACL and RG3 reinjuring his knee.

Without getting into any other aspects... that field in Washington was a pile of crap.

Now there was a report that has been pulled that RG3 has torn ACL and PCL and will be out all next season.

Now there was a report that has been pulled that RG3 has torn ACL and PCL and will be out all next season. Ouch. That really sucks. Hopefully Washington will be able to manage without him. Not saying he's the only good player on the team, but still, sucks to lose a guy like that to injury.

That rumor said he would be out 14-18 months, but like BD said, it has since been pulled.

If he's out even the first week of next season, Shanny should be ashamed. He should have learned with how he went through players in Denver to listen to the Docs. They'll be okay with Cousins (have to find a rental backup) but obviously nowhere near as good as they'd be with RGIII.
Plus I see the NFL giving him a nice little monetary "suggestion" for lying to the media.

In other news, NFLDraftMonsters reports that there are "ARe you interested"-type "back channel" chatter going around about the Buccaneers possibly trading Josh Freeman to the Chiefs.

@sportscenter DEVELOPING: @rgiii will require further tests on injured right knee after MRI proved inconclusive because of previous ACL tear.
@markmaske MRI of R. Griffin's knee suggests possible partial tears of ACL, LCL. More tests needed to see if injuries are new.
@albertbreer Per @markmaske and @mikejoneswapo, Robert Griffin suffered partial tears of the LCL and ACL, according to the MRI today.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if, instead of the Brady-Manning AFC CG dream game, they BOTH choke and we get Houston/Baltimore?
I can imagine CBS going 'NO! We get the late timeslot, and we're stuck with Flacco and Schaub?!'

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the Browns "might pursue" Jon Gruden for their head-coaching vacancy.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms that Seahawks DE Chris Clemons has suffered a torn ACL and meniscus.
Appearing on 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia, ESPN's Ron Jaworski said the Eagles have not reached out to Jon Gruden, but the former head coach would be interested in their head-coaching vacancy.

I get the feeling that RGIII is going to be one of those what might have been players in the vein of Gale Sayers. Where he'll streak across the NFL sky for a few years and then be done due to injuries.
The Skins are my team so I hope that I'm wrong, but as long as Shanahan is running the show and RGIII continues to play recklessly he doesn't have a whole lot of chance to stay healthy.
I mean how dumb does a coach have to be to have the best doctor in the world for such injuries on the sideline and instead of asking him for an evaluation he asks the player if he feels good and can still go, despite the fact that he is running like he's about 40% of his usual self.

If his knee is really that bad and Andrews told Shanahan of the risks and he played him anyways then Shanahan should be fired.

Well, if RGIII is out for next season, well teams with a QB need....
Sorry, but Kirk Cousins will be off the market.
