I was flipping around channels a couple of weeks ago and stumbled on an Hallmark movie and the guy(I forget who but he's done other tv work) was sitting at a desk, but the background of his office was obviously added in after the fact.
God it looked so bad.

The first things that came to mind were the driving scenes in Hard Cash and Trapped in the Closet and the looping for "LOSER LEAVES wwe". The looping in the TV version of Mallrats is very noticeably incongruous.

Also, in Pulse 2 and 3, they screened the background of most the scenes, even when they actually could shoot on location. And the movies aren't sci-fi, it's not taking place in a crazy fantasy world. It's taking place in current day USA, they added no filter or anything; they literally took a picture of the locations they had that they could have filmed at, and used them as background for their green screened scenes. It's incredibly jarring, especially since in many scenes, the background's perspective doesn't match the actors'.

The looping in the TV version of Mallrats is very noticeably incongruous. I'd agree, "Jay"'s voice is just unreal on that. In that, it literally does not sound like a real person, but a cartoon. |

There's a lot of late 90s/early 2000s CGI that looks hilariously awful in retrospect, so much so that choosing the worst offender would be damn near imposs.... Yup. And we have a winner. |

This block of ice blows up, and the chunks that fly at people are obviously made of foam.
