Brad Maddox gets reinstated as referee and is named referee of the match. Rock hits a Rock Bottom on Punk and Punk gets his shoulder up at 2 but Maddox counts the fall anyway. Rock then announces that he's selling the World Tag Team Championship to Alberto Del Rio. suddenly a 2nd Brad Maddox appears and it turns out that he had an evil twin that had taken his place for the match. an irate Punk wonders how much money the Divas have spent on plastic surgery.

I'd say very high. Punk retains at the Rumble. Say, Punk/Ryback/Rock/Cena/Ziggler/Mark Henry (I pray) at the Elimination Chamber with Punk retaining, culminating in Punk/Rock/Cena at Mania.
Eh, wishful thinking. But I still think Punk retains through underhanded means at the Rumble.

I hate Punk, but I want him to retain against Rock and have Ryback win the Rumble and beat Punk clean for the title at Mania.

I believe the WWE is taking in consideration that The Rock is going to have four films releasing in the next four months, so to be able to have the current WWE Champion on all the talk shows is incredibly beneficial to them. That said, I want Punk to hold it till Mania.

I still have it in the back of my mind that they'll have Brock Lesnar (as Punk's "insurance policy") interfere and cost Rock the match. Leading to Rock vs. Brock at Wrestlemania.
And leaving Punk vs. Taker, in a streak vs. WWE title streak match for 'Mania.

100%.
I still think he's keeping the title until he retires.

Has it even been confirmed Cena vs Rock II at Mania?
I'd prefer Punk-Rock II.
I see it like this - Shield interfere, but powerbomb Punk. Rock wins. Heyman shakes hands with Rock.
Heel Rock vs Face Punk at WrestleMania. Punk wins.

I think that Cena might cost The Rock at the RR.

Hopefully no chance.
I'm sick to death of him. There is no good reason for anyone to hold a title this long. I'm sorry but that's how I feel. C.M. Punk to me is just about the dullest thing on TV. He does absolutely nothing at all for me as a viewer.
Having said that...I hope they give the belt to Rock @ the Rumble. Even if he loses it to Cena...it's still better than letting Punk continue to hold it.

Wasn't part of the impetus for bringing Rock back was to cement his legacy as the greatest of all time? Vince has been desperate for a while and WWE needs Rock more than vice versa, so I think they are positioning him to win everything he touches. That said, I thought the reason they set up his title shot for the Rumble was because neither party knew if he would be available for Mania. He's come out recently & said that he plans to work Mania, so they could have Punk retain & give Rock the big win at Mania in a rematch.
I know they won't, but please keep Cena as far away from these guys as possible. Let him job to the Undertaker and make jokes about it.

Chances are pretty good actually.
I'd say 60/40 in favor of Punk retaining.

Rock's also working Elimination Chamber, if the poster is anything to go by. I would say there is a high probability of the Rock winning at the Rumble, retaining at Elimination Chamber, then dropping the gold to Cena at Wrestlemania. I also think Cena was giving us a guaran-damn-tee when he said 2013 is going to be one of the best years of his career. Get ready for the return of Super Cena. ;D

The problem is, who can Punk face at Wrestlemania if he retains? He's been through everyone except The Undertaker, and I have a feeling they're saving someone bigger for him.

50/50 which is part of what makes the match so exciting, I have literally no idea who is going to win

I'm torn.
I don't think there is any chance of Punk retaining at RR... BUT, I think it'd be a better decision to have Punk retain and lose it at EC where he lose the belt to anyone.

I wouldn't mind seeing Punk retain at the Rumble. But I just don't see him going into Mania will the belt either. So either he lose it one month short of Mania (which would suck for the character) or drop it in 3 weeks to Rock.

I'd say 50/50, although considering Rock's going to be working a lot of shows and the fact that Rock vs. Cena II is (unfortunately) at least being talked about, maybe a slight edge towards The Rock.
