I preordered mine, luckily I had a Reward Zone certificate to get 5 bucks off. I don't think DieselTrain is gonna like this news very much since I believe he prefers to get the Blu's at Walmart. Just a matter of personal preference since Wal-mart is much closer to where I live than BB is. Anywhoo I did go to BB today and since I've been slacking with my buying picked up Blu Rays of The Attitude Era, Best of Raw & SD 2012 and RAW 100. Kinda feel like $29.99 for Best of was kinda a rip off considering its a first day release and all. Now i'm stuck on which to watch first. Best Buy is really weird with their pricing on WWE sets. They usually don't do first week sales like they do with other releases. Then later on, they'll do a bunch of sales when they have too much backstock because they never put them on sale. That's why I'm waiting on picking up stuff like the Best PPV Matches of 2012 or Best of Raw and Smackdown.

Which is kind of weird, because at my local best buy if you don't buy it on the week it comes out it's usually $5-$10 more. Was kind of surprised to see Best of Raw and Smackdown at $29.99, but the sticker also had $34.99 on it after the week ends.

Don't think so. The cover art pics I've seen of the B-R set say 2-disc.

Nope, just a 2 disc.

Okay i'm confused. Whats the verdict on WWF and the scratch logo?
I'm over halfway through the RAW 100 moments dvd and I've seen it unblurred and heard WWF a few times but it gets to the Tyson joins DX moment and Mike is wearing a WWF attitude shirt and the scratch logo is blurred.
Make up your minds people.

Some of the project had clipped converted before the law came into effect. It would have been a bitch to go back and fix it. The amount of footage affected is so small its almost unnoticeable.

Make up your minds people. The editors, for some reason, got the Tyson clip from some program WWE produced between 2002 and 2012 (the "blurred" era) rather than the original 1998 airing. That's why it was still censored. Anything that was originally produced from 1998 to 2002 will have the scratch logo uncensored. Anything produced from 2002 to mid-2012 will have the scratch logo censored. That's why Classics On Demand just aired Judgment Day 2000 with the scratch logo uncensored and the 2008 Rock DVD with the scratch logo blurred everywhere.

I might take a screen cap of this later but on the bonus moments when they mentioned WCW main eventing RAW they show JR & Heyman. JR is wearing a shirt with the scratch logo and Heyman is wearing a scratch logo hat.
For WHATEVER reason Heyman's hat is unblurred while JR's shirt is blurred.

Was just about to place an order on WWEShop.com, but looking for a coupon code first, does anyone know of any I can use at the moment?
Note: I am in Canada so the usual free shipping to U.S. will not work.

Maybe they were halfway through that clip, heard the news and went f*** it lol
My own question for those who have the Jericho DVD. I've been working through it the past few days and is it just me or is some of the match selection well.....poor for lack of a better word. I'm on the last match vs Edge so just seen vs taker and I just wonder who made the call to put that on? It lasted 15 mins included intros and most of it was punch/kick up till last couple of mins. Just that and other ones like vs Hogan made me think they could come up with better ones surely. I get why some like his debut match and the one where he won the undisputed belt were included despite not being that great IMO but just seems like a sort of weird selection

Taker and Hogan matches were one of very few matches he had with them so I can understand why he chose them. On checking he only wrestled Hogan in a 1-on-1 televised match twice. Same with Taker I believe. I know if I had wrestled Hogan I'd include the match regardless of quality. Plus I think Chris picked the matches himself.

My copies of "Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops" and "Greatest Hits and Misses" just came in today. Can't wait to add the new set next month and have the complete Foley WWE retrospective.
And yes, I already have the Three Faces of Foley on VHS.

2012 DVD Package is now available on WWE.com. It has all the PPVs, including the 3 disc set for Wrestlemania, the Raw/SD DVD set and (the very redundant) Best PPV Matches of 2012 DVD set. Right now it's $99.99. I'm gonna hold off until it drops below $50, if it does.

Looks like they're using 1997 matches to leverage people into buying another standard definition blu ray. I'm happy to see they included Austin vs HHH at Buried Alive.
