It's Scottish Italian pizzarias who actually deep fry the Pizza's haha.
That's the thing.
I just don't think the rest of the world is ready for our awesome deep fried cuisine.....Deep fried mars bar/milkway anyone?

Pizzerias are pretty dogmatic about their methods, and deep-frying a pizza is about as crazy a cooking method for pizza as can be. Since it's pretty much only popular in Scotland, nobody dares to actually make one elsewhere.

The breakfast sausage I had in Britain was horrible, although I've had the same sort of sausage at breakfast in other parts of Europe as well, so it might not be a "British" thing. A bland tube of meat with no additional spices whatsoever, but several chunks of very hard (unchewable) fat. I just can't get into the beans in tomato sauce either.
On the other hand, I fully support the late night curry/kebab providers.

Scotland is, for now at least, part of Britain, so haggis can still qualify as a British dish Scotland is part of the UK.....not Britain yes it is. just...what?

I'm from down south (Midlands actually) but I do love a battered mars bar.

Being that I was born in England and raised by British parents (even after I moved to Canada) I'm used to British breakfasts. I can't count the number of times my dad has made bacon and egg with beans and toast.

Don't forget the Scottish drink which is pure liquid bubblegum in taste - Irn Brew.
Actually, I quite like it. I wish they did one which didn't taste quite so sickly sweet though.

Irn Bru is amazing. I will hear no negativity about it.
