Though Mason is no longer confirmed in my eyes, I'm going to hold true to my original belief for day phases 1-3 (Daime is mafia, Lodi is mafia, Spartan is town style)
I'm all for the argument to be made the next day phase between Daime, Mason, and I trying to prove that we're town to Zack and the other townie amongst us, but this day phase we need to lynch lodi.
I inspected him, I know he's guilty, and that's the main thing I'm trying to convince you guys through this post now. But like I said, same style as last time.
Daime is MafiaDay 4: Reply 528, me
{Spoiler}
I'll admit while I do believe that he is Yoda... I'd definitely hope/suggest that BitW gets visited this night phase for our cop. Given the roles we've already discovered so far... I just don't know if I believe that we have a backup doc. I was assuming he'd have a more general role, like cop.
But, for now, there isn't really much else to go on. So I'm kind of stuck trusting Daime.
This is before I outted myself as backup cop. What I hope this helps prove is that even though I didn't reveal my role, I had some real hesistations about BitW's backup claim.
Day 5: Reply 559, Mason
{Spoiler}
Alright, my risk payed off. I was nervous as f*** when I voted for Taker, because I thought I just ended the game.
And see what I mean? Spartan wanted the cop to reveal himself, cop is dead at the end of the night. So yeah, I am a little suspicious about that.
But first thing's first: Who thinks that with RKTaker as Mafia, there's a connection between him and Double H?
False. I just read through the thread.
I see it like this:
BitW-Mafia Godfather
Street Spartan-Mafia whatever
Read through the thread. Important things to point out.
1) BitW's indifference to RKTaker. When asked upon his thought on RKTaker, he simply repeats how he is a newbie and that can come across as scum and how he has been mafia before and it shouldn't happen. Daime isn't dumb. He should know that previous alignment in past games should affect on their stance in the current. Look at Lodi for christ's sake. He votes for RKTaker at the end to hide.
2) Notice how Spartan and BitW pitch BitW's reveal. He is no freaking back up doctor. That is bull. BitW slowly starts hinting at 'info' and spartan asks him. Then there comes a nice big reveal that is total baloney.
3) Spartan's treatment of RKTaker. Spartan is good. Real good. Which is why I overlooked this all along. He has mentioned RKTaker as one of his suspects for mafia this whole game. But never acts on it once. Read the thread, and search rktaker each page. You will see it all. Spartan knew that he had to have RKtaker on his bad side since Brad was on him so damn soon. That way, when RKtaker dies, he can conveniently say he had that feeling all along. He also weights out the vote, hoping the deadline would save RKtaker. For someone questioning RKTaker a lot, he sure was hesitant to drop a vote. He questions the move because we need to play smart and not play with sense of urgency. If he was a such a town leader, then he would have delightfully taken a stand on either him or Double H. Town leader my butt. Double H is no mafia, he is town. Being set up.
I am currently deciding on who to place my vote on first.
Now I addressed the point against me on the next page, and I do it again later in this post, but I think some of the points against BitW were spot on. I mentioned in my last post that Daime was leaning town on RKT purely because he was mafia in previous games, which is ridiculous.
The "role reveal" part between Daime and I is sort of right. In the way that I was really trying to coax him into revealing his role, thinking he was our cop. Trust me when I say, that I really saw the benefits of a surprise secret cop, especially one that was already trusted by town and considered a decently smart player. I could play off all my investigations like just knowledge, and I think it would've been believable until I was finally killed.
I don't know what to make of the fact that he got "protector" right. I know someone suggested that he might've been a mafia protector, and that's basically the only guess I got on that one. But his actual actions, especially towards RKTaker are very suspicious.

Short of quoting a single instance for every character from the write ups, I'm going off of memory of who I've seen mentioned or even speaking in the write ups.
I mean I could quote an instance for every character if you need, but if I don't have to, I'd rather not spam the page with it.
This was after I asked if we could get someone to review the night phases to ensure that everyone's claimed identity has indeed appeared and played a role so far. It was literally a post refusing to help me out. That kind of bugged.
Yeah, that point is a small one, but not all of these are going to be homeruns. Just things I'm noticing.

Since Double H keeps wanting to lynch me despite ritt's obvious investigation.
You are
Jedi Master Yoda, Grand Master of the Jedi Order for the past few hundred years.
You are the
Town's Backup Protector, meaning you will become the town protector if the current town
Town's Protector is killed.
Abilities of the Protector:
Each night you will PM the GM(SnS) the name of the person you wish to protect. If targeted for a night kill that night, you will prevent the assassination.
Your goal is to help the town find and lynch all that threaten the safety of the universe. You win when all of the town threats have been eliminated.
Now, Double H's suspicions of me can be put to rest.
Despite role claiming days before me, it took until after I posted my PM for Daime to post his, which conveniently also have needed the yellow color. I really suspect he might have just copied my pm and swapped the words cop with protector and slightly edited the extra info.
First off, Zack, check your pm. Make sure your wording is 100% the same as Daime's (when it comes to the abilities part).
But secondly, remember. I knew the yellow backup color. Daime didn't, or at least never once mentioned it before I showed it.

We have to be sure about who we vote and Spartan can handle himself.
If we lynch the wrong guy now, we're up crap creek.
That said, lynching me is
Not the way to go.
This is more a question than evidence against you, Daime. This is right after Mason voted for me. What did you mean by this post? I don't get the whole "Spartan can handle himself" part?

GODDAMIT PEOPLE. There was ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE against Z Natural, and you should have known that by taking a look at the time between the bandwagon votes. When your typing up something or you want to make a quick vote, you don't even look at the other posts, you type it up and you post it.
Be aware now that if our next target doesn't come up red, I'd suggest packing our bags. SO THINK BEFORE YOU VOTE.
I am very disappointed in all of you.
/rant
Mason, I know you had the roleclaim and everything, but do you have something to say about all this?
This one doesn't read right to me. It doesn't read like a townie angry about the loss, it reads more someone pretending to be angry. I can't put my finger on why exactly, but it just comes off very phony to me. And any faked angerness is immediately gone after the "/rant".

Are we sure about RKTaker though?
Remember, all it takes is one wrong turn now, and this game will be like the Teen Girl Squad: IT'S OVER!
While I was very vocal against lynching RKT, Lodi played it much more low key like an actual mafia member knowing his partner is in danger would. He suggests doubt, mentions that this could be the end. Trying to bait someone into feeling fear and unvoting. Like I said, its a lot more subtle than my approach was.

Well, it would come to me as a shock if I was a Mafia member, because...
*Stands up*
*At-At-At-hem*
When I grow up, I want to be a Jedi Master, and my favorite flavor of ice cream is Vanilla. I'm
Anakin Skywalker. As for who I think are the final two Mafia members, at the moment for me, it's Double H and Zack Morris.
I really just have trouble believing that the real star of these films, the man known for being both the hero and the villain, the only one with a real character arc developed between the six movies, is vanilla.
I really can't buy that. Ritt put it best in a post on day one. If you're going to hide, say you're vanilla. No one can prove that wrong. But I really can't wrap my head around the main star being vanilla. I think we're in movie III in all honesty (judging by some of the gifs) which leads me to think that this is the big swerve moment for Anakin. The powers of the dark side lead him to become mafia.

Rant mode:
I swear beyond god almighty, unless your looking for a town defeat, targeting me will not get us anywhere.
I am a vanilla townie, I have told nothing but the truth regarding my role, and if you don't believe me, then just see what happens when you wake up and you see next to this topic, MAFIA WINS.
Just remember: JUST BECAUSE YOU"VE ROOTED OUT WHO"S WHO DOESN"T MEAN THAT IT"S ALL THE TRUTH.
But I am not lying. Somebody else is.

Another Lodi rant that just doesn't feel genuine. Notice that while I try to defend myself, I don't just say "vote for me and town will lose". I try to provide evidence to prove myself and show that I'm not the right target. Lodi's rant (which again, didn't feel "real") is the exact thing I hate, because its demanding blind fate, and treating you like an idiot for not just believing him. I want evidence Lodi. I want an actual defense. Not just capital letters and threats about losing.

HOLY s***! I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING!
I COULD BE THE MILLER! I'VE GOT TO BE! THAT"S WHY I CAME UP GUILTY!
mikeburnfire.deviantart.com/art/Mafia-Roles-72597749PROTAGONISTIC CATEGORY!
I'm a vanilla townie, Spartan investigated me, AND IT WASN'T IN MY ROLE PM, AND SOMETIMES THE MILLER DOESN"T KNOW THAT HE"S THE MILLER!
!!!
I've already talked about this, but I'll briefly bring up my point again. This feels really bogus to me. Lodi knew I was investigating him. I said I was going to, Zack said to do it, it was happening. This really felt like a way to get me to question my investigation, but the circumstances and the likelihood of him getting the miller role, lasting all the way to this point, only to be investigated when the game is on the line is incredibly slim. I have confidence in my investigation and it said guilty.
Spartan is TownDay 4: Okay, Day Phase 4, I'm not going to sugarcoat it. I was a pain. I was a real hassle, because I did not want RKTaker lynched. I honestly did not see him as mafia (thought he might be a town power role though) and was really against making this move in a ly-lo situation.
Obviously we all know the lynch went through, thanks to Lodi of all people (which is something I'm going to address at the end), but I think something really important happened that phase.
I think Town and I both came to the same realization that I was a terrible leader. I was happy to see RKTaker lynched, but I genuinely felt like crap for being such a pain and obstacle for town, only to be the village idiot supporting the mafia member. There's no excuse for that. There's no "well I was suspicious of him earlier". I should've been there to help town, and not only did I not do that, I was a real pain to the people who did make the difference.
So, thanks for keeping this game alive. And the only real thing I have to say, is thanks for not following my lead. Because I needed that slap in the face to tell me that not only was I wrong, but I was starting to become like the same people I've chastised for being stubborn and not working with town. And that's something I usually pride myself on.
Day 5: On Day 5, a lot of my post were long winded explanations/defenses that I've kind of beaten to the ground by now.
This includes: Obe Wan has clearly been on the town side during the writeups.
Why I was trying to coax the cop into revealing himself.
That I was still confirming others as town, when it would be making my job harder to do that.
Also I posted my pm:
{Spoiler}

Obi-Wan Kenobi, former padawan to Qui-Gon Jin now promoted to full fledged Jedi Knight.
You are the
Town's Backup Cop, meaning you will become the town cop if the curent town

Abilities of the cop:
Each night you will PM the GM(SnS) the name of the person you wish to investigate. The GM will return to you if that person is with the town(
innocent) or not(
guilty).
Your goal is to help the town find and lynch all that threaten the safety of the universe. You win when all of the town threats have been eliminated.
That had info no one else knew about.

That's true. I still think its Lodi and Double H, so I'm fine for lynching either of them.
To Zack, when he said he felt more confident against Lodi than Double H. Not the most swaying evidence in the world, but I'm just trying to show that I was willing to be flexible and work with town (especially after I botched the RKTaker lynch).
Day 6: This review of the entire thread to find every piece of evidence possible is the only thing I got left. I gave a thorough explanation before hand of why I felt it was unfair to blame town's failures all on me because I was appointed "town leader", and admittedly, did a bad job at it.
But I really think the one thing that I'm glad I remembered is the PMs part. I don't know how clear it is in mafia games, but anyone in the e-feds can attest that I have a very sarcastic humor.
That small little banter between SNS and I, really is another strong case of my exact type of humor. (And also, while I have to be deadly serious in-thread, I can have some fun with it outside of the thread).
Obviously... it could be faked. I admit and accept that. But if I were going to fake it, I would've played it simple.
"Investigate Lodi.
Lodi is guilty."
Instead I posted my genuine conversation with SNS, who I do consider myself good friends with (again through the e-feds, but also through survivor and mafia games).
At the end, I'm still going to fight, because I really don't want town to lose now that we're so close to winning again. Despite all the crap I've given about how I don't believe I can count this as a genuine win after all the role claims, I'll admit that they've given this game a really interesting and tense swerve.
Like I said, I think Daime is mafia. But I know Lodi is mafia. I'm keeping my vote on Lodi and I seriously hope this has swayed you two (Zack and Mason).
Also, like I've pleaded before... now that I've posted this, Daime and Lodi can attack and still look justified. Please unvote me while you're considering this, Mason.

Also this pretty much confirms Mason claims of his role.Since it fits perfect with what he said
In fact,i think you could have been the target of the night Kill mason and the bodyguard died for his sake.
Nah, I understand. But yes, this is the last of my day phases. And we should honestly go for either ritt or RKTaker. And I am feeling RKTaker.
This post swayed me a lot. Figured I should let others get another glimpse of it too. Thinking he was dead because Panaka was killed, and gives a clear target that is indeed a mafia member.
I think I'm the only one actually even eye'ing Mason, but this does make me feel a bit better about him.[/ul]
