MAME game recommendations Monster Maulers. It's a hybrid between one-on-one fighter and a scrolling beat'em-up. It makes an odd mix, but looks very interesting. Plays like a boss-rush with pauses. Waku Waku 7. Pretty much to fighting games what Disgaea is to RPG tropes. Fairly balanced fighter, with good humour and a fantastic art-direction. TMNTIV: Turtles in Time. The SNES version is drip-out brilliant, and its arcade parent is similar, with a few tidbits that got dropped in the home-release. Fantasy Zone. I ain't a fan of SHMUPS, but it's a colourful, fun game. Surrealist, anime vibe to it, and it's got rakes of charm. The actual gameplay is smooth and engaging. It can lean on the easier side, but it's good if you want to stick something on that you'll clear in an hour, with a bit of challenge and cool mechanics.

One more for the SNES collection:
Bubsy: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind. - I think it's highly under-rated and actually quite a good platformer.

Pick up a couple game this week... Ape Escape 2 (PS2) Conker Bad Fur Day (N64) Augh. I've been trying to stash away money for a copy of Conker, but I keep blowing it on smaller purchases. ...on that note, picked up Legend of the Mystical Ninja for the SNES. Great stuff.

I remember when I could get a used copy of Conker's from Gamers for around $10. Who knew the inflation rate would hit in less than 6 years? Good thing I bought it back then.
I should be getting of Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu and Frankentein; The Monster Returns in a week or so. That will put my NES collection to around 240, give or take.

I've sold off a few of my unused Genesis games, as well as traded some unused SNES games. Pretty much starting to go a bit more minimalist with those collections in order to build towards my NES collection.
I'm trading my copy of Lost Vikings II to someone who can nab me a copy of Darkwing Duck, the one game left in my NES hunt that I truly want.

Ugh, not having disposable income right now really sucks. My last purchase is still "On the Ball."
May eventually have to do some trading. May end up considering getting rid of my NES at least, leaving me with my N64, SNES, and Genesis (which I also may get rid of. Been going back and forth because I have a lot of memories of it with my late uncle.)
Edit: Decided to use some of my Goozex points and get two cheaper titles #213: Jeopardy (now have the "trilogy") #214: Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball
