I was SO ready to boo the shit out of Dallas but when he was hitting Cena in the corner I couldn't help but cheer.

Like I said in the rumble thread, it should have been Ohno instead of Bo. You have an instant money feud with Barrett and Ohno, plus Ohno would have probably left more of a mark in the rumble. I'd much rather they built Ohno up with Vignettes on RAW and have him debut in a proper match rather than have him randomly appear in the Rumble. I mean, one can't really showcase their talents fully in such a match, can they?

You could've had Ohno come into the match, lay everyone out with elbows, and then he waits in the ring for the next entrant, and it just happens to be Wade Barrett. The two of them go at it for a bit. And we have some random spot where Ohno and Barrett both throw the elbow strike at the same time, hit each other in the arm and sell it like they've been whacked with a (Bull) hammer. And I'm saying this as someone who doesn't even like Barrett's elbow.

He had a pretty good run in the Rumble and an instant feud set up with Barrett. Why not go into Wrestlemania with it? Because Bo Dallas.

The fact that his spot didn't go to Richie Steamboat made me shake my head disapprovingly. Sometimes I really can't wrap my head around what WWE is thinking.

They better keep this thing with Barrett going. Otherwise, what was the point?

Have none of you seen Ritchie Steamboat wrestle? He's not automatically good just because his last name is Steamboat. Ritchie is actually kind of terrible. Why do you think he's been in developmental so long?
Ohno would have been a good choice, but they probably wanted a face rookie debut.

I'd still put Dallas ahead of Ritchie though as far as progress goes.

I was most struck by how Bo looks almost exactly like Juventud Guerrera. The fact that his spot didn't go to Richie Steamboat made me shake my head disapprovingly. Sometimes I really can't wrap my head around what WWE is thinking. According to Meltzer, many within WWE want Richie to debut on the main roster as a heel.

I didn't really get the point. If Barrett beats him, nothing's accomplished, and if he beats Barrett it's just going to make him look bad, but moreso, Bo basically did nothing in the match outside of that and both he and Wade were in there for ages before it happened. Not passing judgment on the guy, since he really didn't show a thing one way or the other, it just all seemed kind of pointless. wait, I thought according to people on the net that the plucky underdog that puts on a good showing but ultimately falls short was the ultimate way to build someone.

Should have been Ohno, Steamboat or Adrian Neville.
To be fair, I've really seen Bo wrestle. I just hate his name but, looking on Wikipedia, his signature moves include atomic drop, scoop slam and running punch.... yeah, that's not generic at all.

Richie actually is not a bad heel. But I also think he's currently out with an injury. Now I will say this for Bo, he kind of got screwed over coming out at the exact same time as Kofi's chair spot. They tried to talk about Bo a little later, but he should've been given a fair shout out when he came out

Thinking about it, this should have been Richie Steamboat. He could have eliminated Barrett, have Barrett take him out and then started a build on that and what Barrett has done to Richie's dad. I thought the same thing after it happen.

In 2 years, people will be making Bo Dallas appreciation threads.
Or not. Either way, he's the WWE Forum Garett Bischoff.
