Well, one thing I'll give the Nets is that they usually play their best basketball against the Knicks. If they meet up in the postseason, it's going to be a long, tough series. Still not convinced they're going to have any meaningful success in the postseason though unless they end up in the top 4 and can pick off one of the weaker Eastern conference teams. They haven't been very good against winning teams this year.

The Nets not good against winning teams in their first year of a new era?
This is the exact same thing I heard in LeBron's first year with Miami (YOU CAN'T BEAT THE GOOD TEAMS, ONLY THE BAD ONES!)

As for what Reggie Evans said? I'm sure Cavs fan approved of it, since they live vicariously through 'Anything to make the traitor look bad.'

League sources tell USA Today's Alex Kennedy that the Suns are trying to trade for Hawks F Josh Smith.
Kevin Love (hand) is expected to return to Minnesota on Friday.

Oh....GOD they are going to wear those damned things again?!
That being said, amazing deal on the ticket prices. Starting as low as $6 for the cheap seats(where they can thankfully get a zoomed out view of those horrid unis).

The NBA fined Raptors coach Dwane Casey $25,000 for public criticism of officials.
"I’m tired of losing games because of missed calls at the end of games. I know the league is going to come down on me, but I don’t care," Casey said after Wednesday's game

The league had already apologized for screwing them over twice before that incident.

I'd take Indiana over Brooklyn pretty easily. Same with Chicago. Atlanta I dunno. Milwaukee they could probably beat, but I have a hard time thinking they're anything but one and done in the postseason. They aren't as good as their record indicates. Indiana is a great defensive team. Offensively? Not so much. They're a byproduct of great coaching and overall arrangement, and I'm hoping that Granger's return will infuse them with an offensive weapon and not compromise their integrity. While I would love for them to go the distance, I realistically see them as going no further than the second round. If they play the Heat seven times, I can see them winning 2-3 times, like last year, but not enough to knock them off.

The Player's Association has placed Billy Hunter on indefinite leave of absence
Ron Klempner will be acting executive director until the NBPA holds a vote
Apparently an independent firm released its report of the business practices under Hunter's leadership

Bit of a struggle for the Bulls so far without Noah, Kirk and Booze (and obvs D-Rose), but up 42-41 on the Nets at half time.

20 points for Gay in his Raptors debut, as they thrash the Clippers 98-73.

The Bulls go down 93-89 in Brooklyn. In the end, only having 9 fit players told, and the Nets simply outlasted us.

Weird back-and-forth game in New York. AWFUL first half for the Knicks, but they got their shit together for the 4th quarter and Tyson Chandler had 20(!) rebounds. Melo kept his streak of 20+ games going and also had 8 rebounds and 6 assists to go along with it.

I give the Nets some props for beating an upper-echelon team in Chicago.
That's the type of team they need to beat.
