Looking forward to that. I love the Nu Gundam's dynamic kill.

Can somebody tell me what order to watch the Gundam series in just so I don't get it wrong. Here are the core anime series to view (excluding the OAV side stories): UC (Universal Century): The original series - Gundam*
- Zeta*
- ZZ
- Char's Counterattack*
- Unicorn
*Focused on Amuro and Char And then there are the AU works, like G, Wing, X, Turn A, Seed/Seed Destiny (the latter two works being the Ultimate Marvel to Gundam/Zeta Gundam's Earth-616), 00, and more recently, AGE. Both Seed and GSD got the HD Remaster treatment. Seed's run was finished, and Destiny HD Remaster is to be released this April. And as for reception of the Seed series among Gundam and/or anime fans: - Seed = Batman Forever = Transformers (2007)
- Seed Destiny = Batman and Robin = Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

So G Gundam is pretty much amazing in every way. Also, Tequila Gundam.

Since we're on a new thread, I'd like to ask. What's the current series? What's the basic plot? Is it any good?
I've seen Wing countless times, most of OO, and a good chunk of the original. Other than that I'm kind of a Gundam newb, even though I built a ton of models when I lived in San Francisco(The mall in Japantown had an awesome toy store)

The only series "airing" right now (the episodes come from DVD's and Blu-Rays) is Gundam Unicorn, but that's like 2 episodes PER YEAR (they're one hour long and the animation is just absolutely fantastic, WAY better than anything that airs weekly. And there will be like 6 or 7 episodes total). And it's worth seeing, even if the plot is kinda confusing.
The last Gundam series to be completed was AGE. It kinda tried a new approach (with the story ovearching three generations of protagonists) but it came of (especially in the third part) as rushed and not well thought out (heck, the ending is, IMO, the worst ending to any Gundam ever) and is, by consequence, one of the worst Gundam series up until now.
If you want to see some more recent Gundam, I would recomend Gundam 00. Its initial setting is similar to Gundam Wing, so that may ease your entry in the series proper. It has a few problems (and a movie that only accentuates those) but it's a good entry.

Don't expect any major changes in the storyline, but here's what I predict what would happen: - A Retrack version of "Fields of Hope"
- Will use the Final Plus ending, as opposed to the original "Flawless Victory" TV ending
- Incorporate some stuff from the TV Movies

See how you feel about Zeta. After that, you can go one direction with Turn A Gundam or the completely opposite direction with G Gundam. And 08th MS Team is MANDATORY VIEWING.

Also, check out War in the Pocket, and Stargazer if you like SEED. Both are very short, so it's worth a shot.
Gundam: The Origin is apparently going to get an anime adaptation, but no news seems to be out when or even if it is a full series, and not just an OVA.

So G Gundam is pretty much amazing in every way. Also, Tequila Gundam. I hoped that one of its attacks' pet names was "Tequila Sunrise". I don't know why. I actually am considering importing Gundam 00 (the Video Game for the Nintendo DS), because I got an original Nintendo DS (the big blue "Clamshell" one), but I Also hope my 3DS can play it (unless you deal with the pesky "region lock" issues). It looks pretty good, plus I want to beat it so I can unlock the game's "Final Boss Mode". {Spoiler}You will battle the Thrones, which'll determine if you get the Best Ending or a Mediocre Ending.
Unfortunately, you can't play as any of the Thrones, but you can fight them as many times as you wish, as far as I know. I am hoping that there is a way to unlock the Thrones for free play. You all know why, of course.

Sure, I can get down with that.
I was thinking it'd be fun to discuss what Minovsky and Mega Particles do and how they function, but I don't know if I'd just be telling you guys crap you didn't care about or already knew. I am not an expert on it, but I am finally starting to get it I think.
